User Experience Analyst, iQ Content June 2012 Present (8 months) Dublin Engaged in a wide range of UX related activities including workshopping, wireframing, design research, usability reviews, information architecture and stakeholder interviewing with iQ Content, a leading agency based in Dublin. Worked with clients such as Airtricity, Tekcomms, the Road Safety Authority, NUI Galway and Goodyear to provide improved user experience and usability in their digital offerings. User Experience Intern, Cisco Systems Inc May 2011 September 2011 (5 months)Oranmore, Co. Galway Interning at Cisco Galway (Oranmore) in the User Experience team. I worked extensively in an agile development environment and with teams in Galway and San Jose through telepresence. My work involved designing user interfaces and wireframes for an upcoming unied communications client from Cisco. I was also involved on the design team which reviewed and redesigned the call forwarding interface. Usability and Design Executive, WebDev Ltd. May 2010 March 2011 (11 months)Limerick, Ireland I advised on Usability, Design and Social Media for Ireland's largest Online Dating Group. My duties included evaluations, testing and advising. I conducted full site usability reviews and audits for sites such as AnotherFriend.com. SingleParents.ie and OutThere.ie. I advised on user experience and was involved in tracking site metrics such as click through rate, heatmaps and information architecture. Bar Staff and Night Porter, Templemore Arms Hotel May 2004 May 2010 (6 years 1 month) Serving drinks and food to customers in a friendly and hospitable way, cleaning the bar area and making sandwiches/paninis for customers. As Night Porter, my duties included serving residents, watching the security cameras, cleaning the bar and reception areas, and monitoring the hotel area.

Airtricity Strategic Redesign Current Redesigning the Airtricity Homepage, IA and Content Templates based on Analytics, Eyetracking research, and Stakeholder needs. RSA CPC November 2012 Designed the online Driver CPC system for the RSA, allowing drivers and training centres to track and schedule driver training. Cisco Jabber Summer 2012 Designed the user preferences system for one of the leading unied communications platforms for enterprise. Worked in an agile environment with multiple teams of engineers.

University of Limerick 2007-2012 First Class Honours, BSc Digital Media Design Studied Digital Media Design at the University of Limerick with a particular focus on HCI and User Centred Design. Received an A for my nal year project, and received a First Class Honours degree. Interests and Hobbies


Co-Founder, Design Jam Ireland April 2012 Present (10 months) Co-founder, organizer, part time mentor and curator, with Daniel Beere. Ireland's rst Design Jam event, bringing together designers of all disciplines to tackle exciting design challenges. First took place in Limerick, followed by a highly successful event in Dublin in September of 2012. IxDA Limerick / Dublin 2008-Present Member of IxDA in Limerick and Dublin. Presented and spoke at various events and was involved in various events. Thomas McDonagh Pipe Band 2000-Present Member of the Thomas McDonagh Pipe Band for the last 13 years. Taught drumming to various youth classes throughout the years and played in the London 2011 and New York 2006 St. Patricks Day parades.
