About the Course The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya Branch has organized a one-day course on Presentation and Evaluation of Disputes in Construction claims to be held on Thursday 6th June, 2013 at Nairobi Club. The course covers main areas of claims under FIDIC Conditions of Civil Engineering Contracts, Public and Private Conditions of Building Contracts. The course is suitable for Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Developers, Valuers, Litigation Lawyers involved in Construction disputes etc. The objective of the course is to present the nature and form of the Construction Claims under the building and civil engineering conditions of contract including the roles of the parties and consultants and to enable participants understand the principles of extension of time and the preparation, presentation and evaluation of disputes in construction claims. The course fee is Kshs 10,000/- which will cover course material, lunch and teas. The fees can also be paid by instalments, provided all the fees is received before the closing date of Friday 31st May, 2013. Timings: 6th June 2013 - 8.30 am to 5.00 p.m.
