QUESTION 3 PARTS OF A PROPOSAL (20 marks) Funstasticz Sdn. Bhd. is a fast growing organization. Due to the increasing number of newly recruited staff, the Human Resource Manager, Mr. Muhammad Lutfi Latif feels a team-building weekend needs to be held. Below is the proposal to be submitted to the CEO of Funstasticz Sdn. Bhd. Bearing in mind the 5C's of communication, complete the parts of this proposal. You are advised to include your own additional information wherever necessary.

1.0 Executive Summary Our companys financial report shows that we experienced a remarkable growth every year. Due to that, the demand for our service in the market also keeps on increasing. To cater the increasing demand for our service, we hired many new staff and most of them are fresh graduates.

To ensure productive work of the new staff in our company, we recommend the company to organize a team-building program on the weekend. This is to make sure that the new and existing staff can work together effectively.

The recommended cost for this project will be less than RM 1300.00 and we hope that our staff will benefit a lot from this program for the company benefit as well as our customers satisfaction.

2.0 Background 2.1 Since our company showed a good growth every year, we have been recruiting many new staff to meet the increasing demand of our services. In addition to that, more than half of our newly recruited staff are fresh graduates. Please refer to Table 1 regarding our new staff background.

The increase in demand for our services indeed shows a positive performance of our company. Since we have many new staff, we feel there is a need to organize teambuilding activities during the weekend so that the staff will be able to know each other. This is in turn will result in a good working environment.
3.0 Problems/Needs

3.1

Our new staff especially the fresh graduates needs to make themselves comfortable with the other staff especially with the senior one. All staff are working together and because of that, they need to know each other well to create a good bonding with all the staff.

3.2

Our new staff especially the fresh graduates which does not have working experience need to be exposed with the culture of our organization. For our new staff with working experience, they also need to adapt themselves with our organization culture because the culture of their working place before might be different from ours.

4.0 Objectives 4.1 The purpose of this proposal is to organize team-building activities for the newly recruited staff as well as for the existing staff to create a good relationship between all the staff.

4.2

Other purpose of this proposal is to expose the new staff to the culture of our organization.

5.0 Plan of work 5.1 We suggest our company to organize a one day team-building activities during the weekend at Janda Baik. To make this program cost effective, we would suggest hiring our senior staff to conduct the program. There will be two team building activities and some refreshments for our staff.

7.0 Conclusion Funstasticz Sdn. Bhd. had been recruiting many new staff to increase the performance of our company in the market. More than half of our new staff consists of fresh graduates that do not have working experience. This proposal is an effort for us to train our new staff so that they can work productively and in return, we expect them to be able to fulfill our customers expectation.

We recommend a budget of RM 2460 to be allocated for this program and hopefully this program will benefit our company so that we are able to serve our customers best.
