The Forever Delicious products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market. Bearing in mind the 5Cs principles of effective communication, complete the following parts of the proposal to the General Manager, suggesting for the organization to sponsor a reality show on TV. You are advised to include your own additional information whenever necessary.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Forever Delicious is in the process of development and growth. Thus, a target has been set on the level of awareness of the community on our company and product line that need to achieved for the year. Based on our data obtained from the survey done on 100 samples from each state in Malaysia, it is found that we failed to achieve this target at the point of the survey being distributed.

Therefore, we need to opt for a more assertive marketing strategy that would enhance the community awareness on our company and product line. Thus, we are recommending the company to sponsor the Master Chef reality television show which currently a hit on the national channel. By choosing the bronze sponsorship package offered by the show, our company is entitled for a 10-second advertisement as well as the participants would be wearing our companys logo on their attire. This would certainly promote the company to be widely known by the local community. This recommended strategy would cost RM10,000 and will enhance companys popularity to be widely known and assist in the companys development and growth.

INTRODUCTION

Background The Forever Delicious is in the process of development and growth. As of now, our line of pastries products is increasingly known to the local market. Then again, this achievement does not reach the target that has been set by the company. Based on the survey that we have done on 100 samples from each state in Malaysia, it is found that the community still has low to moderate awareness on these areas: Our company The products that we offer

This clearly shows that we fail to achieve our target, which is to obtain a moderate to high among the community on our company as well as our product line. Thus, we need to take necessary measures in order to ensure that we are able to achieve our target. Data Sources We obtained our data from reliable sources. This includes the primary data obtained through the survey done by our Marketing Department on our company and product line.

Problem The main problem that we are facing currently is the fact that we are not meeting the target that has been set by the company. In our strategic planning, we planned to ensure that our products would be widely known to the local customers. Thus, this years target is to obtain at least a moderate to high awareness of the consumers on our products. However, the results of the survey done clearly indicated that we fail to meet this target as of that time of survey being Solution (2 marks) distributed. Hence, we need to improve and enhance our marketing strategy in the following quarters to ensure that we are able to meet this years target, thus, ensuring the companys development and growth.

Solution In order to ensure that we are able to achieve this years target, we should opt for a more assertive marketing strategy. Hence, we would like to propose to the company to sponsor the Master Chef programme, which is currently the most popular reality television show broadcast on the local channel. This reality show is a competition on finding the best cook among the participants. By sponsoring this show, our company would be able to promote companys name as well as our product line indirectly. This is due to the fact that sponsors would be allocated with a number of commercial advertisements done by the participants of the show itself showing the sponsors for the programme. Since this show is a hit now, this would certainly help us in promoting our company and brand name.

Objective This proposal aims to enhance the current awareness of the community on our company and line of products so that our products would be widely known to the local community which would assist in the companys development and growth.

Assessment of cost The details of sponsoring package offered by the Master Chef show are as follows: Platinum package: RM60,000 (40-second ad. & companys logo on participants attire) Gold package : RM40,000 (30-second ad. & companys logo on participants attire)

Silver package : RM25,000 (20-second ad. & companys logo on participants attire) Bronze package : RM10,000 (10-second ad. & companys logo on participants attire) We would like to propose the company to opt for the Bronze package as it would be a reasonable cost for the company to spend on Marketing plans. This would enable the company to promote our company name and line of products on the national television and sure to be viewed by a large segment of the local community.

Conclusion With the low awareness of the community on our company and product line, the development and growth of our company is at risk. Thus, this proposal aims to enhance the local community awareness on these areas and stands as an assertive marketing strategy. This would help Forever Delicious to be widely known, thus, expanding the current products sales. Therefore, we would like to recommend the company to sponsor the Master Chef reality television show and opt for the bronze sponsorship package. This would enable our company to promote our name and product through the 10 seconds advertisement allocated for the sponsors of this package. In addition, the participants of this hit television show would also be wearing our logo on their attire which indirectly promotes our company to the viewers. This strategy would enhance the community awareness on our company and product line at a reasonable cost.
