ESOTERIC GYMNASTICS (Asanas)

We need to know that in the human body, in the cellular organism, there are chakras that are especially for organic vitality. They are a sort of whirlpool through which the prana, the life in our organism, enters. The first is the occipital, the second is the frontal, the third is the laryngeal, situated in the throat. The fourth is the hepatic, the fifth is the prostatic and there are also two in the knees: seven in total. I repeat that these seven chakras are basic for the vitality of the physical organism. The prana, life, enters the vital body through them. They are the basis of all organic activity.

The laryngeal, for instance, is related to the prostatic. Because of that, the voice, the word, needs to be looked after. One has to carefully avoid bawling, or making very low vocal sounds. If we carefully observe the life of many very elderly people, we can confirm that they bawl a lot which ruins their sexual potency, and also indicates their impotence. The same happens with sounds made that are too low and cavernous. They also destroy the sexual potency, so the man's voice must be kept within the normal range. The same also applies to the woman's voice: it shouldn't be either too low or loud, because this destroys the sexual potency, due to the intimate connection that exists between the larynx, properly said, k n and the sexual centre. o It could be argued that the woman has no prostate gland. This is true, but she has the prostatic chakra w which is related to the uterus, and this chakra plays a very important role in her, as important as the pro static chakra in the man. We could call the prostatic chakra in the woman the uterine chakra, and we a l know the importance of the uterus in a woman. l After this short introduction we will explain some very important information for the benefit of the o f Gnostic brothers. t h Some time ago in India it happened that an English colonel was living retired from active military a service. He was a man of about sixty years old and he had a young friend. This colonel heard about a t monastery in Tibet where many people arrived old and left young. Well, I will relate this precisely, . because now I only want to explain the reason for doing these six rituals which allow one to turn into a I youth, in the same way that the colonel was looking for. f o The first thing that we ought to do is to seek for health, because a healthy body serves for anything, it n bears everything and responds at all times to physical ~d spiritual demands. So the first thing, as I said e before, is to cure the body and to keep it in' good condition for the whole of our lives, because what can one do with a sick body? It is obvious that an esotericist, an initiate, should never be ill. lllnesses and w painful problems are for people who are not on the real path, are they not? But one who is on the path a should be neither decrepit nor ill. That is clear. . n t So, there is a series of very important esoteric exercises. In esotericism, for instance, Kundalini Yoga s and Viparita Karanhi Mudhra have been mentioned a lot. The Dancing Dervishes, the whirlwind t Dervishes, have been mentioned. There are Dervishes who know how to perform some wonderful o dances in Pakistan, India etc. Through those dances they awaken certain powers and develop certain

have a young body, and wants to develop the chakras, then let us see this series of exercises. . The young don't appreciate the value of youth because they are young, but the elderly appreciate the wealth that is in youth. Since with these six rituals that we are going to practise an old man could rejuvenate, it is obvious that with these rituals if a person is young he can keep himself young and if he is old, he can go back to his youth.

With these practices any person can cure himself of disease. Here we will see the Mayurasana, the he kneeling position, the position of the table that can be seen in some holy runes etc. It is a synthesis of esoteric exercises, with documentation in India, Persia, Pakistan, Turkey, Yucatan, Mexico, etc. I have seen books everywhere, but they do not teach the fully balanced formula which is needed. Therefore, what 1 am going to teach is very important and you can teach it as well to all the brothers of the Gnostic Movement in South America. First, for the elderly to become young. For instance a 70 year old man could end up transforming himself into a person of 3 5 or 40 years old. You could ask me why 1 don't look young. This is simply because 1 was not interested in keeping my physical body, but now that 1 have been informed that 1 have to keep this body for an indefinite period to be able to start the Age of Aquarius, it is obvious that 1 have to practise such exercises. Once i saw a publication that somebody sent me from Costa Rica with the mentioned rituals, because these rituals are not the exclusive inheritance of anybody. There are some monasteries in the Himalayas and in other places where these rituals are practised. The lamas especially call these rituals "The Spring of Youth". It is clear that, although practising them myself there are a lot of exercises which 1 did not find documented in the mentioned publication. I found some details gathered from the same lamasery that I know very well, as I also know other schools which exist in Indostan. One only needs to travel a bit through Turkey, Persia, Pakistan etc., and there one will find out something about the Dancing Dervishes or about the whirlwind etc. One has to meditate a bit about what kneeling down symbolises. As a child one unconsciously practises certain exercises. Anyway in that publication I saw_~ very interesting story that 1 am going to narrate now; the one about the English colonel, so that you have a more precise idea about the benefits that you receive with these exercises that I am going to teach. In this popular magazine 1 have mentioned, they related the case of a seventy year old English colonel in India. He knew that in Tibet there was a Lamasery where people could rejuvenate. He invited a friend that he had. His friend was young and obviously didn't want to pay attention to him as he would say, "What for?" Being young, why would he look for a place where he could rejuvenate? On the day of departure of the poor ~ld man his young friend, as' it is easy to imagine, laughed a lot to see the poor 70 year old man, with his stick and his bald head with a few white hairs, looking very old, travelling in the direction of the Himalayas searching for youth. The young man thought within himself "How curious is this poor old man. He has already lived his life and he wants to live it again," and obviously when he saw him go it only made him laugh. The curious thing is that after more or less four months the colonel's young friend received a letter from the old man informing him that he was already on his way to that Lamasery called "The Spring of Youth." That obviously made him laugh and the matter was left like that. The truth is that after four years what happened leaves no reason to laugh. Somebody knocked at the he young man's door. He went to open the door. "At your service, how can 1 help you?" The man who ad had just arrived, who looked like a man of 35 to 40 years old said, "1 am the colonel so and so." "Ah," said the young man, "Are you the son of the colonel who went to the Himalayas?" "No," he answered, "1 am the very same colonel . . ." "But... how is that possible? I know the colonel. Hes a friend and he is an old man, and you are not old." "1 repeat, I am the colonel who wrote a letter to you four months after my departure informing you that 1 had already found the way to the lamasery." He showed his documents to the young man who was obviously astonished.

The curious thing is that there in the Himalayas the colonel met a lot of young people with whom he became friends in the lamasery called "The Spring of Youth." There were no old people. Everybody was young. The only elderly person was himself the others were people between 30, 35 and 40 years old, but when he became good friends with many of them he discovered that all of them were more than a hundred years old, that all of them were older than he, but none of them looked old. Obviously, the colonel was amazed. He submitted himself to the esoteric discipline of the lamasery and he managed to conquer youth. Well, I saw this story in the publication which was sent to me, but I know that lamasery personally. I have been there. It is a very big building with huge patios. On one patio the men work and on the other the women initiates work. In that lamasery there are not only initiated Tibetan women but English, French, German and women from different European countries. I know all those exercises that they have taught there since ancient times. I have known the Whirlwind Movements from the Mohammedans which constitute part of the esoteric aspect of Mohammedanism and they are practised by the Dancing Dervishes as I already said. Regarding the kneeling position, it is from the esoteric mystical special technical movements. Regarding the table position, it is from the Yucatan. Regarding the position that some call the lizard, which is a good exercise for trimming down the tummy, this has documentation in Indostan, in the Kundalini Yoga, and it is called Mayarasana. The position with the legs up, which has a vast documentation, is always known as the Viparita Karanhi Mudra. We find it in a lot of holy texts, and there is the famous Vajroli Mudra that helps in the sexual transmutation of single people, and also helps very much those who work with the Sahaja Maithuna. So this series of exercises are not the exclusive property of only one person. There have been many publications, as I say, but those who know the esoteric part are very few. I know the esoteric part not only from what is mentioned in that Costa Rican publication, or from the many others that we have seen which mention these exercises: but from a long time ago. I know it practically from Lemuria, because, for instance, I practised the Viparitha Karanhi Mudra intensively when I was reincarnated in the Lemurian continent of Mu and I know that it is very important. Now I am going to teach the practical side. Afterwards you will be able to teach the brothers of the Gnostic Movement all.that you are h~g here in the Patriarchal See of the Movement in the capital city of Mexico, and I would be very happy if all of them learnt the six rituals that I am going to teach, because certainly the six rituals that I am going.to teach are not merely physical traditions, no... The lamas that work in the lamasery called "The Spring of Youth," practise such rituals using a prayer rug, a small carpet on which the exercises can be done. They lie doow they kneel down, they sit on it, etc. To each position or sadhana corresponds a meditation, a prayer. Let's say, to each change of position corresponds an intensification of any of the mystical aSpects, depending on the case. The Divine Mother Kundalini is the central point of every sadhana. When one is doing these practices one is in perfect concentration, in prayer, imploring and asking the Divine Mother for one's most urgent need. We can ask the Logos through Her. She intercedes before the Logos. She asks with us, implores for us. She has a great power. One implores to Her, the Divine Mother, to intervene for us before the Third Logos and for Her to implore to the Logos for healing, awakening of consciousness, the awakening of this or that chakra, etc. Each position is different and is meant for intensifying the prayer, the petition, the request. In these practices of meditation, concentration and petition one can ask the Divine Mother Kundalini to invoke her divine spouse, the Divine Third Logos, the Holy Spirit. We know well that the spouse of the Divine Mother is the Holy Spirit.

One has to request and implore intensively to the Divine Mother so that She implores and requests her divine spouse to cure us, to relieve us from any illness or pain from which we suffer. Then She will concentrate on the Logos, her spouse, the Arch-Hierophant as He is called, for him to come and heal this or that ill organ which is stopping us from being efficient. In that moment one must identify with the Logos, the Holy Spirit, and imploring, imperiously, order the organ that is ill, saying, "Get well, get well, get well, work, work, work" with true faith, with energy, with courage. Talk to that organ, because it is necessary for it to get well. One must decidedly concentrate on each cell of the organ that is ill, on each atom, molecule, electron of the ill organ, ordering it to work, to be healed, to be cured, and concentrate deeply on the Logos, fully identified with the Holy Spirit who in those moments is curing and healing the ill organ. In that way the organ will have to heal, that is obvious. Therefore, it is advisable that each one learns to cure himself Through the strength of the Holy Spirit one can heal oneself One can cure oneself of any illness. Being ill is very sad, very painful, and, as I said, one who is on the path has no reason to be ill. So with these exercises, the chakras are developed and on the other hand the organism is healed. These are very important chakras, for example, the occipital is a door through which forces come into the organism. The frontal is another door through which the vital forces penetrate the organism when the chakras are developed. As I said the laryngeal is intimately related to the prostatic chakra which is the sex. In both sexes, both the pro static and the laryngeal are important for the health of the organism. There is the one in the liver. You know that the liver is a true laboratory. This chakra has to be developed for the liver to work correctly because when the liver is working well, the organism works very well. There are also the chakras of the knees. There are two, one in each knee, and they are vital for the human body. Those vortices of strength must turn intensively for life, prana, health, to come into the physical body.

First exercise
The student stands up with the arms open at the sides as in a cross, then he starts turning around, turning from left to right like the hands of a clock. It is obvious that the chakras will also turn when doing the exercise with some intensity and after some time of practising. Do it as if standing up in the middle of a clock and turn in the direction of the hands or the minute hand of a elock until you complete twelve turns. It is obvious that soII!e will start with a few turns until one day they manage the twelve. They should be done with the eyes open and when you finish turning you will close the eyes so that you don't fall because you will end up a bit dizzy, depending on the number of turns you manage to do, but you will aim to do the full exercise which is twelve turns. The disciple keeps the eyes closed until the dizziness has disappeared. Meanwhile he continues imploring, begging, pleading to the Divine Mother to beg Her Divine husband, to implore him to allow the healing of the ill organ. The disciple will remain fully identified with the Logos and intensively implore the Divine Mother for her to intervene on behalf of the disciple before the Logos. You have to turn from left to right, because among spiritualist mediums the chakras turn from right to left in a negative way, and that is not good. We are not mediums or anything like that. We have to develop our chakras in a positive way. Therefore the system that I am teaching is wonderful, because it allows the development of the chakras and the healing of illnesses. All the other exercises complement each other.

You are going to do the exercise in a practical way, concentrating on the Divine Mother Kundalini, with feet together in a military style, in a stable position with the arms open to one side. Now start turning from left to right, asking deeply for what you most wish, first of all to cure the organ which is ill, and secondly that your chakras turn. It is obvious that if you turn from left to right in the same way as the hands of a clock look from the front, the chakras will turn positively, so turn at the speed you consider comfortable. The order is twelve turns. If after that you want to continue with another thousand, well that is up to you, OK? While you are turning you just concentrate on your Divine Mother Kundalini. Ask Her to call the Holy Spirit, begging Him to cure you, imploring the Logos to heal you. Also we need to open the ill organ, saying to it, "Open sesame, open sesame, open sesame. l1 It is a mantra that appears in "The Thousand and One Nights," but people think that it is only a very pleasant story and they don't pay any attention to that mantram, but it is a true mantram: "Open Sesame (you order the organ) for the healing vital force to come into you." Then the force of the Holy Spirit comes into the organ and it is obvious that the organ heals, cures, with the strength of the Third Logos, but it must be done with a lot of faith, faith and faith.

Second Exercise When you have finished turning and have opened your eyes, you must lie down on the floor on your back, let's say, face up with the feet together, legs extended, arms open to the sides in a horizontal position, like a cross facing the ceiling. Now you !intensify the concentration, intensify the meditation on the Divine Mother Kundalini, asking her, imploring her to cure the ill organ that you want to cure. Also at that time, those who are not curing themselves can ask for any other need, such as to eliminate such and such an ego, such and Such psychological defect or to 'develop such and such faculty, etc. One has the right to ask: these exercises are for that. Here, lying down on your back one implores and intensifies the prayer, the petition, fully identified with the Third Logos. Well, so you are there lying down. Now you know, implore and ask in that position.

Third Exercise You are lying down. You have done your petitions. Now lift up your legs and hold them in a vertical position. There is no need to keep your arms in the form of a cross. You can help to keep the legs up with your hands holding the back of the knees, trying to keep your legs as vertical as possible, but without lifting the buttocks from the floor, or, more clearly, the waist must be well placed on the floor, stuck to the floor. That is what is called in the Orient Viparita Karanhi Mudra. Then all the blood goes to the head, precipitates to the cranium in order to cause certain areas of the brain to start functioning and to strengthen the sight. It is necessary to have good sight, a good sense of smell, a good sense of touch, good hearing, good taste, etc., etc. You stay there for a while in this position. In the meantime you intensify the asking to the Divine Mother Kundalini, imploring her, begging her to help us, with her Divine spouse, to achieve the benefit that we need, the healing, the faculty, the disintegration of the ego, etc. Well, with that it is enough. You have done the exercise, you have implored the Divine Mother to bring you the Third Logos and you are fully identified with Him, so He heals or awakens such and such a faculty, etc. I have already explained that in each exercise there must be prayers to the Divine Mother, asking her to implore the Holy Spirit in her Holy language to come and cure us of this or that illness, all in accordance with the needs of each person, etc. Some people will ask for healing, others for the awakening of this or that faculty, others for the disintegration of this or that defect.

Fourth Exercise
As I already said, these exercises are not merely physical but are six ways of praying. It is a different system of healing and rejuvenating through prayer. The lamas practice these six rituals on a rug or small cover, whatever you wish to call it. There are so many words and each country has many ways of naming an object or thing and obviously one feels obliged to use different terms so people understand.

It is obvious that we have to get used to these exercises with a lot of patience, slowly, until the day when you do the exercises easily. This is not for doing all in one go, no, we have to get the organism used to them slowly, and little by little we will-do the exercises better until we do them in the correct way. Some can take days, others weeks, others months, others years, etc., etc., to accustom the body. Neither are these exercises for the citizens of this or that country. They are for all the Gnostic citizens of the world. I don't know how people are so caught up in that thing of patriotism, that thing of my native land and yours. It is one land. Men have divided the land into lots and to each lot they put a flag. They put up some statues of their heroes, fill up the frontiers with wild herders armed to the teeth, etc., etc., and then call it their native land.

It is very sad that the earth is divided into lots. A day will arrive when the earth has to change. Unfortunately, on this planet this thing of changing is difficult. Only after a great cataclysm will we have the planet earth converted into only one great native land ... but let's be more specific with the exercises that I am teaching. Now you kneel down on the floor towards the east, towards where the sun rises. Incline your head down a bit, a bit, not much. Then you must do around three pranayamas like this: put the index finger of your right hand over the left nostril, inhale through the right nostril, then press both nostrils with both fingers, the index and the thumb. Hold your breath for a few seconds, then uncover the left nostril and exhale all the air. Next inhale through the left nostril, covering the right one with the thumb; press the two nostrils with the thumb and index finger, repeating the exercises two more times until you complete three inhalations and three exhalations. That is equivalent to three pranayamas. Did you understand?

Remember, we use only two fingers, nothing else, exclusively the index and the thumb of the right hand. You cover with one, inhale through the other nostril, cover both, uncover the other etc. It is like a little game, that when you cover with one, you uncover with the other and Vice versa. You have already done the exercise. Now incline your head down and begin praying to the Divine Mother Kundalini Shakti, imploring to Devi Kundalini what you need etc., etc.

Fifth Exercise Now as you are, incline your body backwards keeping the kneeling position. The arms must be kept close to the body at the sides. Throw the body well backwards. Stay there as long as you can bear, a few seconds, asking, imploring, begging the Divine Mother Kundalini to mediate for you before the Holy Spirit for Him to allow you the benefit you have asked for, being healing or of any other kind. .

This exercise is short because it is very hard and needs effort, but it is very good for the flexibility of the body and for destroying toxins. The important thing is to do it as best we can

Sixth Exercise Don't forget that in each exercise, there is a need to beg and implore intensively, and if is necessary to cry for her to implore to the Third Logos and cure the organ that is ill. Remember that she is the mediator, the one who frtvokes the Logos who is her Divine husband, the Holy Spirit, Shiva, as He is called in the East, the ArchHierophant, the First of the Creation, the Swan of Light Plumage, the White Dove, the Immortal, Hiram AbifT, the Secret Master, of whom all of us committed the mistake in the past of having murdered him. We murdered him when we committed the original sin. Because of that we need to resurrect him among the dead, to exclaim with all our heart, the King has died! Long live the King!

Now you will do it in the following way: You will sit on the floor with the legs extended forward and with the hands placed behind you on the floor, the trunk of the body at an angle, resting on the hands, facing forward, heels touching each other, and the feet in a fan shape. Here you do the petition again, praying with a lot of faith and devotion to the Divine Mother.

Seventh Exercise To do this exercise, it is enough to bend the legs a bit putting the soles of the feet on the floor and lifting the buttocks andthe stomach, remaining in the table position with the knees, the belly and the' face in one horizontal line only.

The face must be towards the ceiling, the body must be resting on the hands and feet, but facing up, forming, as we said, a human table, as in the drawing . In this position you must intensify the prayers and the petition to the Divine Mother Kundalini asking her to invoke her Divine spouse, the Holy Spirit, to come and carry out the healing that you need. I have already explained this several times, but it is good not to forget it so that the exercise is complete, because it is not only something solely physical, it is something different, balanced. Do you understand?

Eighth Exercise We will now see the Mayurasana. You can remember it by the month of May. Instead of saying May say Mayur and add asana. The word asana means holy position. Well I am going to do it so you see what the Mayurasana is like.

Before that it is necessary to do another pranayama again. Here you do a complete exercise of pranayama as you did in exercise number 4 and after the pranayama or after the three pranayamas of the exercise we place ourselves in the posture of a lizard. That is why this posture is called the lizard position. Many people practice the lizard to get rid of the curve in the abdomen, what we call, let's say, the paunch, a stomach full of fat, chubby, inflated and horrible. With the palms of the hands on the floor leaning like a lizard, I hold myself on the tips of my toes with my legs extended backwards, facing the front, keeping the head in a straight line: the back of the neck, the back, the buttocks and the legs down to the heels, as a lizard. Naturally, now that I have my face facing the front, when I do the second movement, I lower the' head. I place it on the chest as much as I can and I do this movement, up and down, up and down, etc. Here I am asking my Divine Mother Kundalini to activate all my chakras. Tenth Exercise From that position, you have the head very close to the chest, because you are doing the lizard exercise which is with the head bent down. Now as you are and keeping the hands in the same place, w~ forward with short steps until you become a human arc, as in the figure. There on four legs like a horse with your head

on your chest forming a perfect human arc you can or you must be in prayer, asking, imploring, begging, as I have already told you, to the Divine Mother for what you most need. Traffic can pass underneath because you must form a kind of human arc.

After being for a moment there in that position in prayer, move the knees down a bit, bending them so the body goes down, lift up the hands, and get up. In other words, stand up to finish the exercise.

Remember that with this position of the human arc as you have done it, we cause the blood to come to the head, cleanse the lymph glands and irrigate all the areas of the cranium. These exercises are especially good to get rid of the paunch or the belly. I don't know why people like to keep their stomachs bulky, the "curve of happiness. " One should never have a fat stomach. With this exercise we can say good-bye to the paunch. Do you understand? As you can see, these are six rituals, six ways of praying. These are not merely physical exercises. Besides they have a perfect balance between the physical and the spiritual. In Tibet the lamas, when they work with these rituals, unfold their rugs and work on their prayer rugs. I don't know if you understand what I mean by "rugs", but this means a small carpet, or small cover, appropriate for one person to do the exercises on. There is no problem in doing the exercises anywhere even if you do not have the small cover or the rug. The important thing is to do the practice anywhere, no matter what.

Special Exercise Number Eleven Now I vill teach you a special variety of the same Viparita Karanhi Mudra to rejuvenate the body. We could call it number eleven, and it consists of the following: You place yourself lying down on your back on the floor. Lift the legs and place them on the wall. For this exercise you have to be very close to the wall as you shall see. This exercise is very special for a great work that only the Holy Spirit can do within our organism. We have a moon in the brain that makes us the most lunar entities in the world. Our actions are negative and lunar, because the moon is in our brain.

On the contrary, in the area of the belly, we have a wonderful Sun. Since we left paradise the shining Sun moved from the brain to the belly and the cold moon went to the brain. So, knowing this aspect, being in this position we implore the Holy Spirit to carry out an exchange, for Him to take the moon out of the brain and place it in our belly and at the same time to take the shining Sun out of the belly and place it in our brain. It is obvious that it is necessary to do this constantly, without interruption. AS we are doing the' exercise of Viparita Karanhi Mudra, implore and beg the Holy Spirit to perform that change, to place the moon that we have in the brain in our belly, and the Sun that we have in the belly in our brain.

Only the Third Logos can do this work, and the exact position that is needed is this one that you can see me doing, as I am here. We must implore and ask, deeply concentrated on the Third Logos, for Him to come and carry out that transplant of the moon to the belly and the Sun to the brain. This Viparita Karanhi Mudra is a truly wonderful ritual to gain rejuvenation of the physical body. It is necessary and urgent to reconquer youth. The body must be kept young and spirited in the initiate who walks on the path of the razor's edge. Whoever succeeds in doing this exercise for a period of three hours will defeat death and will reconquer youth, but obviously we have to start with five minutes maximum and then increase the time progressively, slowly, with patience and calmly. For instance, we will increase it by one minute a day. Here, with the Viparita Karanhi Mudra, we have given a wonderful way to rejuvenate the body and be cured of any illness for those who wish to do so. Here, in this position you must ask the Third Logos to rejuvenate the physical organism, to cure this or that pain or illness, to change your old cells for new ones, etc. You will start with five minutes in this position and later increase it by one minute every day. Progressively you will increase the time held in this position until you achieve a maximum of three hours. It is obvious that in order to achieve the three hours in this position a long time is needed, maybe a few years of continuous practise, but those years of constant sacrifice are equivalent to defeating death. This is the famous Viparita Karanhi Mudra.
