How to create and modify a calendar? Add and remove currencies?

Exercise 8: Consolidation of all the learning objectives so far.

Runway Marking Project A typical runway has following dimensions:

Runway markings are specialized markings. They are extremely important for the pilots for takeoffs and landings. The basic types of these markings are as follows: 1. Threshold (stripes at the end of runway) 2. Touch down zones (two thick lines on both the sides of runway) 3. Center line 4. Fixed distance markings (Every 150 m only 2 on both the sides) Use Tilos to plan and execute this project. The Physical picture of this runway is shown here: (Code 3 runway)

Constant wear and tear erodes these markings. Presently, Mangalore runway (shown in the picture) needs fresh markings and contract for this has been released. Since the operations of the airport cannot be stopped, work has to be carried out when there is no traffic. Airport authorities have asked for the number of working days you would require with each day with only 3 hours at night. You will not be working on Saturdays and Sundays as the airport is operational. With these constraints you effectively have only 3 h/day time window. In this time window your productivity is as follows: 1. Threshold: 4 days. (There will be 4 activities and each one will be 1 day: Cleaning Substrate, ph Neutralization, Paint Coat, Heat treatment)

2. Touch down zone: 4 days (same as threshold) 3. Center line: 150 m of runway length per day 4. Fixed distance markings: 1 set per day per crew You have only 2 sets of crew and equipment. Both the sets can perform any of the 4 operations mentioned above. Use Tilos to make this schedule and determine the number of days required for this project. Also, the crew and equipment cost you Rs. 27,000 per day. Assign the resources and determine the total project cost. A possible solution:

Exercise 9
Managing Profiles In this exercise, a profile would be added to the schedule that was prepared in the last exercise. The elevation data is given in an excel spreadsheet. Import this data in Tilos schedule and calibrate it with the Time Distance Diagram. Your solution would look like this:
