The Philippines' Department of Agriculture (Filipino: Kagawaran ng Pagsasaka), abbreviated as DA, is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for boosting the income of farmers as well as reducing the incidence of poverty in the rural sector, as stipulated in the Government's Medium Term Philippine Development Plan.

The Department of Tourism (DOT; Filipino: Kagawaran ng Turismo) is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for the regulation of the Philippinetourism industry and the promotion of the Philippines as a tourist destination.

The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) (Filipino: Kagawaran ng Transportasyon at Komunikasyon) (KTK) is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for the maintenance and expansion of viable, efficient, and dependable transportation and communications systems as effective instruments for national recovery and economic progress. The department is responsible for the country's land, air, sea and communications infrastructure.

Non-government organization
Action for Economic Reforms (AER) is a Philippine non-government organization engaged in research [1] and advocacy. It was founded in 1996 by a group of progressive scholars and activists as an "independent, reform-oriented and activist policy group". AER works on macroeconomic issues, with an emphasis on fiscal policy and tax policy and [2] administration, and looks at their impact on equity, poverty reduction, and sustainability. As part of its macroeconomic intervention, AER also addresses exchange rate, monetary, andtrade issues.

The Philippine Development Assistance Programme, Inc. (PDAP) is a coalition of Filipino and Canadian non-government organizations (NGOs). It was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization to alleviate [1] poverty and inequality in the Philippines. PDAP partners with existing NGOs in the Philippines as well as peoples organizations (POs) to develop and carry out projects to help the rural communities. The main form of funding for PDAPs projects is contributions from the Canadian International Development [2] Agency (CIDA). Born officially in 1947, Philippine Red Cross (PRC), a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, has roots that trace back to the revolutionary days. The PRC has been established 60 years ago. Before, the PRC used to be involved only in providing blood and in disaster-related activities and short-term palliatives. Now it also focuses on a wider array of humanitarian services.
