Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following dates at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled Nutritive Value of Indian Foods Integrated Indian Food Composition Tables at this Institute. 1 Class M.Sc/ /2 Class M.Sc with Ph.D in Biochemistry /Life Science with three years relevant laboratory experience. Conversant with the handling of either of the instruments Fast HPLC/HPLC/ICPMS/LCMS/AAS/GCMS/LCMbMS/ICPOES. Minimum three years experience in analysis of nutrients and bioactive substance in foods as evidenced by publications. Below 40 years. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per G.O.I Rules.

Age Consolidated Salary

Rs.43,344/- p.m. +Rs.6,660/- HRA p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances.

Sl.No.2 Sr. Technical Assistant 9 Nos. (SC -2 OBC-1 UR-6) Date of Interview: 01-05-2013 : 1st Class B.Sc. from a recognize University with Chemistry and Biology as one Essential of the subject. Qualifications Desirable : M. Sc. In Chemistry / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany / Microbiology / Food Science / Food Science & Nutrition with experience in analysis of nutrients in foods. Experience in handling of Fast HPLC / HPLC / ICPMS / LCMS / AAS / Kjeldahi nitrogen analyzer, microwave ashing system, microwave digestion system, muffle furnace, sat boiling distillation system will be an added advantage. Minimum one to three years working experience. Below 30 Years. Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates G.O.I Rules

B.Sc.(BZC) from a recognized University OR Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology OR High School with 5 years Lab Experience. 2 years Experience in Clinical Laboratory and experience in blood drawing. Below 30 years. Relaxation of age is admissible as per G.O.I. Rules.

-2Sl.No.4 Data Entry Operator 1 No. (OBC) Date of Interview: 29-04-2013 : Any Graduates from a recognized University with one year Diploma in Essential Computer Application and 2 years experience in Data Entry work. Qualifications Desirable : Candidates will be given preference who is working in the Data Entry field for more than three years. Below 28 years. Relaxation of age is admissible as per G.O.I. Rules.

Sl.No.5 Animal Attendant 1 No. (OBC) Date of Interview: 29-04-2013 : 10th Class pass and knowledge in Hindi and who are willing for extensive Essential touring all over the country along with the technical staff for collection of Qualifications samples. Desirable : Minimum one to three years experience in Glassware and laboratory maintenance. Below 28 years. Relaxation of age is admissible as per G.O.I. Rules. Rs.12,608/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

The tenure for all the above posts is 8 months. Initially the appointment will be given for a period of three months and extendable based on the performance and subject to the extension of the Project by the funding agency. The candidates should bring all original
certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a passport-size photograph and one set of Photo copies of all certificates duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview. The persons belongs to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not later than three, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/ written test. GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be allowed as per the G.O.I Rules. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
