RECAP: The Rainiers scored 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning and cruised to an 8-2 win over Las Vegas on Saturday night. Starter
Jeremy Bonderman (6.0,5,2,2,1,4,2HR) recorded his first win of the season, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits in 6.0 innings. Relievers Jhonny
Nunez (0.2,0,0,0,1,0), Bobby LaFromboise (0.1,1,0,0,1,0) and Danny Farquhar (2.0,2,0,0,0,1) combined to hold Las Vegas scoreless over
the final 3.0 innings. Farquhar recorded his 2nd save of the season, recording the final 6 outs of the game. DH Michael Saunders (2x5, R,
2B, 3B, RBI) had a leadoff triple and scored and run in the 1st inning and a RBI double in the 9th in his 2nd rehab start with the Rainiers.

RECAP: Jackson allowed a run in the bottom of the 8th inning as Jackson lost to Chattanooga 4-5
in a game that was complete on Saturday after being suspended the night before due to rain. Friday
nights game was suspended due to rain tied 4-4. The Lookouts and Generals played through
steady rainfall in the 7th and top of the 8th, but the game was finally suspended after a 34 minute
rain delay with Chattanooga coming to bat in the bottom of the 8th. 3B Vinnie Catricala (2x4, 2 2B,
RBI) and LF Leon Landry (2x3, R, HR, 3 RBI, BB) each led the Generals with 2 hits. Starter Brett
Shankin (6.0,8,4,3,1,3) allowed 4 runs (3 ER) on 8 hits in 6.0 innings, but will not figure into the
decision. LH Nick Hill (1.0,1,0,0,0,1) tossed a scoreless 7th inning and RH Forrest Snow
(1.0,2,1,1,0,0) recorded the loss, allowing 1 run on 2 hits in the 8th inning. Jackson set season-high
in runs scored and hits as the Generals defeated Chattanooga 13-1 on Saturday night. CF/RF
Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) finished off a 4-hit night with a double in the top of
the 9th making him the first player in Jackson franchise history to hit for the cycle. 1B Steven
Proscia (3x5, 3 R, 3B), LF Leon Landry (2x4, R, 2B, RBI, 2 BB), SS Brad Miller (2x5, 2 R, HR, 2
RBI) and James Jones (2x5, R, RBI) each recorded 2 of the Generals 17 hits. Starter Roenis Elias
(6.0,4,1,1,3,6) recorded his first AA win, allowing 1 run on 4 hits and striking out 6 in 6.0 innings. RH
Moises Hernandez (2.0,1,0,0,0,2) and RH Tyler Burgoon (1.0,1,0,0,0,2) combined to strikeout 4
batters in 3.0 scoreless innings in relief to secure the win.
HITTING FOR THE CYCLE: Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) completed the cycle
on Saturday night at Chattanooga. It was the first cycle in Jackson franchise history, dating back to
1998, when the Generals were known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. But it was the 2nd cycle in
10 days for a Mariners prospect after Carlos Triunfel accomplished the feat for Triple-A Tacoma on
April 17. Almonte hit a solo homer in in the third inning, a bases-loaded triple in the 4th inning, and
singled in the 5th and got his 5th RBI of the evening. After being called out on strikes in the 6th
inning, Almonted lined a 2-2 pitch to right field for a double to complete the cycle.
OF NOTE:. RHP Taijuan Walker has allowed only 1 earned run in his last 4 starts (5 R), loweing
his season ERA from 7.20 to 1.55. Overall this season, he is 2-2 with a 1.55 ERA (5 ER, 29.0 IP) in
5 starts. He has limited opponents to a .150 (15x100) average, while walking 18 and striking out 32.
John Hicks has hit safely in 9 of his last 10 games, batting .350 (14x40) with 6 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 4 RBI. INF Brad Miller
has hit safely in 5 of his last 6 games, batting .321 (9x28) with 5 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 4 RBI. OF Leon Landry has hit
safely in 9 of his last 10 games, batting .310 (13x42) with 4 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 5 RBI. INF Steven Proscia has hit

RECAP: The Mavericks allowed run in 7 of 9 innings as High Desert lost to Stockton 7-17 on
Saturday night. Starter Seon Gi Kim (1.2,5,5,5,3,1,HR) recorded the loss, allowing 5 run on 5 hits
in 1.2 innings. Relievers Tyler Blandford (2.0,6,7,7,3,0,2HR), David Colvin (2.1,2,3,1,1,5), Matt
Brazis (1.2,3,2,2,0,2,HR) and Dillon Hazlett (1.0,2,1,1,2,1,HR) each were charged with runs in
relief. RH George Mieses (0.1,0,0,0,0,0) was the only reliever not allowing a run, after recording
the final out in the 8th. SS Chris Taylor (4x5, R, 2 2B, 2 RBI) led the Mavericks with 2 hits, while
