Current directives of 'the Department of the Army, as amplified herein, will govern the wearing of the uniform at this station, in the City of Lawton, and the immediate vicinity of Fort Sill. Military personnei of this command will conform to local uniform regulations when on temporary duty at other stations, when on leave in other areas, or when visiting other sta.
tions. 3. SERVICE UNIFORM. a. Winter (Officers and Enlisted Men).

(1) (a) The Service Uniform prescribed for habitual wear on duty
between the hours of reveille and retreat is as follows: Shirt, wool, shade 33 Trousers, wool, shade 33 Necktie, shade 51 Cap, service, brown, fur felt, officers Cap, service, wool, shade 33, enlisted men Boots, combat, or shoes, service Shoes, low quarter, tan (Optional for Officers).

Jacket, field, 1\1-43,as directed by unit commanders. (b) This uniform is authorized for wear off the Post only while en route between an individual's residence and place of duty. It is not authorized for wear under any circumstances in
other places off the post.

(2) (a) When prescribed by unit commanders, the following service uniform is authorized for optional wear during special oc.

(b) This uniform is authorized for wear by officers off the Post only while en route between the officer's residence and place of duty. (c) This uniform is authorized for wear off the Post by enlisted m~n at any time. This authority includes wearing of this .uniform in public places. (d) Shirt, trousers, and cap, service, tropical worsted, shade G1, may be worn in lieu of shirt and trousers, cotton, khaki as service uniform when such substitution is consistent with the type of du ty pt:rformed.

Section II. WEARING

OF CIVILIAN

CLOTHES

1. GENERAL. Civilian clothing appropriate to the occasion and commensurate with good taste may be worn, subject to the restrictions stated in succeeding paragraphs: a. all the Post at any time except when on official business. b. For direct travel to and from the Post at any time.

c. On the Post when off duty:

(1) On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. (2) Between retreat and reveille on other days. 2. MIXED UNIFORM. No article of the military uniforri' will be worn with items of civilian clothing. except low quarter shoes and socks and except for sports participation as indicated in par 7. 3. POST THEATERS. Civilian attire, including coat and tie, may be worn at Post Theaters. Military personnel in civilian clothes will be denied admittance unless able to present proper identification as indicated in par 8 below. 4. OFFICERS' CLUB. After retreat civilian attire, including coat and tie, may be worn at the officers' Club, except for formal occasions. Dress uniform, or formal civilian evening clothes will be worn 'on fonnal occasions including Saturday night dances. 5. NCO CLUBS AND SERVICE CLUBS. After retreat civilian attire, including coat and tie are appropriate. Uniforms for wear by enlisted men in NCO clubs, service clubs and tbeaters is as followS: summer semidress (par 4d (I) ); or winter semidress (par 4b). 6. ORGANIZATION MESSES. Civilian clothes may be worn at organization messes at the evening meal (even if prior to retreat) and on Sundays and holidays .. 7. CLOTHING FOR SPORTS PARTICIPATION. a. d. Articles of military uniform may be worn while actively engaged sports so long as the following rule is strictly complied with: "If any part of the uniform is worn above the belt the complete uniform, including headgear, must be worn."

8. IDENTIFICATION. l\filitary personnel in civilian clothing will at all times carry proper identification. This will include officer's AGO cards, enlisted AGO cards, official passes, commissary card, or identification tags. In all cases, at Post Theaters, Post Exchange, Clubs, or other Post activities where identification is required, military personnel in civilian clothing will be denied admittance or purchase privileges, unless able to present proper identification as listed above. 9. STANDARDS OF CIVILIAN DRESS. The same standards of appearance, neatness and cleanliness will be required for wearing of civilian dress as is required :when wearing the uniform.
