ANALYSIS OF DATA (SIWU IN PERSPECTIVE) Siwu is a language spoken in the Central parts of the Volta Region Ghana .

Among the towns and villages that use this language include Lolobi, Akpafu, Adorkor, and Sokpo and . The language has diverse ways of using a noun phrase. By the use a data, this paper discusses how noun phrases are used in the language. Noun phrase Siwu language has a noun phrase which is headed by a head noun or a pronoun that is attached to the verb in the sentence.Example 1a below shows the use of pronouns in this sense. 1a. - so- Shia pron iso.

Qualifiers Siwu language uses derived norminals as qualifiers. Example 6a below shows how this is used in the language. 6b rgobi girl

In the above example, rgo means girl while bi means small or young.However,the two are joined together .ie. small woman (girl)

LOCATIVE VERBS The language uses locative verbs which appear in different forms. Three forms in this regard are shia is used for human beings, :pia is used for no-h inanimate objects.
