If you want to become a great philosopher you must follow a great philosopher and if you want to become a great teacher you have to follow a great teacher. That is why we feel right about choosing As-Syafie also known as Muhammad bin Idris bin AlAbbas ra. bin Usman bin syafie bin As-Saib because he is not just a great teacher but also a great philosopher. He originated from Gazza in 150 A.H. corresponding to 767 CE and his view upon the education is that education is universal, the process of learning is endless and teaching as guidance. This can be seen on how we can apply this in the global education. We would also like to show the similarities of his philosophy with others philosophers. As-Syafie stated that we must gain knowledge maybe because it cou ld help us in this world and in the afterlife. It is also important for the prophet and those who are righteous. His words give us meaning that education is universal no matter if someone is young and old or black and white they have the rights learn something new. An individual such as himself never give up on trying to learn or gain new knowledge. To gain knowledge towards the divine interest, he learns the Holy Al-Quran when he was 5 years old and memorize it when he was 9 years old. It shows that it is important that firstly we must gained knowledge for our soul. This is because knowledge for our soul is the action that god tells us to do. Such as in Christian we should read and study the Bible because it is God's Word to us. That is why in our global education we cannot strict student to only learn the subjects that are taught in school, we must also realize them that education is not just subjects that are taught in school we must taught them how to survive in this world by applying what we have taught them. We taught them skills such as social skills for them to have self-confidence over themselves. This is important because an individual is not just learning to be successful in this world but also to be successful in the afterlife so that they go and enter heaven. It is not just the teacher job to realize the student about the need of the education but teacher are also involved in the development of the students. As a great teacher we will produce great student. A knowledgeable teacher will definitely have a different and creative teaching methods. In the global education from the aspect of change The children need to be taught how to learn new skills and knowledge to get along successfully as the time change.(www.gobalizationteachingcurriculum.com) That is why as an innovative teacher we must do our best not just to change how we educate students but we also must change their mentality towards their understanding towards education.

Secondly, what we can see from As-Syafie life long journey of gaining knowledge is that we never must not give up on finding the truth. What makes As-Syafie unique is that he have a thirst of knowledge. This is relevant for my second point which is the process of learning is endless. From the Islamic concept, we as the servant of god must know the truth in our religion and it is the same for the Christian where they believe what is right for them. Also, in Islam Allah S.W.T command they Muslim to gain knowledge as much as possible for example in the Holy Al-Quran stated Read! In the Name of your Lord, who created (all that exists); created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous (Quran 96:1 -3). The above verses from the Holy Quran are the first verses revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings be upon him). The very first word and command sent by Allah, subhanahu wa ta`ala (the Exalted and Glorified)Read!signifies the importance of mankind attaining knowledge. Long before these powerful verses were sent down, the Prophet (saws) would seclude himself for days at a time, reflecting upon many questions of existence the human condition, the meaning of life, creation, and the purpose of man, society and nations.(www.alkalima.com) One of the characteristics of global education philosophy is World interdependence: All ideas should be taught as inter-connected and related to the world outside our own microcosm. As an individual person, we have to realize in this world the things that we learn in class in only compulsory for us to work not for us to live. We have not realize that the simple things that we learn that are crucial for life such as social skills. We tend to learn it unconsciously that is why the important thing This shows how important is As-Syafie concept of education. It shows we must try to gain more knowledge no matter the obstacle or how far you have to go to gain that knowledge, in education we must have self-sacrifice spending our time and money to explore new types of information because our time on this world is only temporary and the afterlife is where we leave forever. While we are in this world we have to try our best to gain new knowledge and from the knowledge that we had gained we could help to save those in need or to guide them in life ever after we died. Lastly I want to talk about teaching is a really a way of guiding people from what As-Syafie had achieved in life he tends to become someone influential in Islam because his way is a guide for Islam in this part of the region. Therefore, teaching people is not limited to in the classroom but also in everyday life. Imam As-Syafie contribute in Islam by writing books based on the concept of Islam itself, one of his work is Al-Hujjah that explain about the ancient concept on Islamic views. He makes his teaching as a guide by recording every knowledge that he had in his book. This is to spread the knowledge

that we have learn to the world because in the global education philosophy there are world diversity and equity and Justice. From what As -Syafie had learned throughout his life he had showed to the world that his view upon the concept of Islam and how he sees it is accepted by many Muslim nowadays no matter the cultures or ethnics. He applies the equity and justice for all the people of Muslim. His rules and guides on Islam are applied all aspect of the people that are called Muslim. This is why as a teacher it not just our jobs to spread knowledge but to guide people towards the truth that they have been seeking. Conclusion, as a teacher trainee. I learned a lot from As-Syafie about how we must do towards our global education philosophy. He showed how we could apply his ways on gaining knowledge and to give knowledge. As-Syafie showed that the role of a teacher not just to teach student to understand but also make them realize the importance of learning. If we could follow As-Syafie learning methods and his view about education, Im sure that there will be many people that are successful. We as a teacher must find a way to make the student to become like As-Syafie where they have a thirst to gain knowledge. Also a great teacher knows how to guide their student to become great learners in the future.
