Topic: Order of Operations in Math

Introductory Activity
Objective: Students will be identify and begin using the Order of Operations when simplifying and solving equations. Setting up the worksheet, with focusing on one order of operation at a time allows clear understanding of where the student has its difficulties. Identifying where a student struggles will be the first step and the teacher can assist and provide student with a different method to solve the equation. Another way to provide assistance for the struggling student is to set up the student who is having difficulty in one area with another student that is excelling at that particular area.
