Colabora con entidades sociales que luchan por el
bienestar de la gente de la tercera edad, fundaciones
contra el aborto y asociaciones que luchan contra la
fibromialgia. Es poeta y escribe relatos cortos y artculos
para varias revistas comarcales (impresas y digitales). Es
colaborador habitual de Celestial Nor.

Obtained his degree in theology from the seminar INSTE.
Collaborates with various social entities fighting for the
seniorswelfare, foundations against abortion, and
associations fighting fibromyalgia. He is a poet and writes
short stories and articles for various county magazines
(print & digital), regularly he contributes with Celestial Nor.
Titulada en comunicacin social y periodismo impreso. Ha
trabajado para directores y agrupaciones teatrales en
Venezuela. Su trabajo en el rea cultural ha sido reconocido

RRPP del grupo de teatro Abrapalabra y fue colaboradora
en el peridico Mundo Hispano. Coordinadora de Atletas en

espaol de la revista CN.

Worked for directors and theater groups in Venezuela. Her
work in the cultural field has been recognized in publications
such as the Journal Quito Da and the magazine En Escena.
In Barcelona was a press representative and public relations
for the theater group Abrapalabra and a collaborator in the
newspaper Mundo Hispano. Athletes in Action Coordinator
for the Vine Church County City and Celestial Nors
Proofreader.

Estudi comunicacin social, periodismo e historia de la
msica pop; tambin un ao de filosofa. Fue corrector
de textos para una editorial. Es escritor, redactor, poeta,
compositor y letrista. Actualmente trabaja como traductor
general de espaol-ingles y colabora con sus artculos y
poemas para Celestial Nor. En esta edicin es corrector.

He studied social communication, journalism & pop-
music s history; also a year of philosophy. He is a writer,
poet, writer, composer and musician. He currently Works
as a Spanish-English translator and collaborates with his

Entrenador de deportes desde hace mucho
tiempo. Vive en una granja en las montaas
rocosas canadienses. Ha escrito docenas de
cuentos inspirados en base a sus propias
experiencias verdaderas de la vida, as como
otras obras. l elabora un devocional mensual
que se lee en seis continentes, y es un ministro
ordenado, fundador y operador de un ministerio
de prisin. Autor del libro My Dance With Diane.

A longtime sports coach. He lives on a farm in
the Canadian Rockies. Has written dozens of
inspirational short stories based on his own true
life experiences, as well as other works.
He compiles a monthly devotional read on six
continents, and is an ordained minister; founder
and operator of a prison ministry. Author of the
book: My Dance With Diane.

eventos, chef; principalmente es el administrador
del restaurante y hotel de su padre, tambin es
lder juvenil y asesor pastoral. Suele participar en

el amor y la misericordia de Dios

Antes de hacer alguna o todas las ideas,
primeramente ten un tiempo de comunicacin
con Cristo para que te ilumine, muestre su
voluntad y gue en cada paso.

Es el mes en que varios pases
celebran el da de la madre.
Por tal razn celebremos

Mira el sol; ha salido para nosotros. Nos sonre, sus
rayos iluminan nuestro camino. Comencemos a
caminar, nos espera un brillante porvenir. T, yo y el
amor que nos une, qu ms podemos desear?
Algn da llegaremos a la ciudad que siempre
hemos anhelado. All hay un lugar privilegiado para
nosotros, un nido acogedor para nuestro amor,
donde nunca ms seremos azotados por el cicln, ni
las tormentas amenazarn ms la solidez de esta
maravillosa unin.

Has visto las flores del sendero? Son de colores
que nunca antes habamos visto, porque ahora
nuestros ojos ven lo que antes no vean y nuestro
corazn percibe las maravillas que nos rodean,
sacindonos mientras marchamos con alegra por la
ruta que nos lleva a la ciudad del amor, a nuestra
tierra prometida, donde los dorados campos de trigo
sern el lecho donde juguemos hasta el anochecer,
y la luna, que todos los das estar llena, iluminar
nuestras sonrisas, que brotarn como semillas,
convirtindose en esas estrellas que siempre
soamos alcanzar.

No ha llovido, pero el arco iris adorna nuestro cielo y
nos muestra la direccin, a ese destino que desde
que nacimos hemos deseado; un lugar donde el
amor crezca en los valles como la verde hierba,
fresca, con esplendor de reyes, sin limitaciones.

En los rboles habrn hojas que sanarn todas las
heridas de ese pasado que tanto nos afligi.

Look at the sun; it has come to us. It smiles
to us, its rays illuminate our path. Lets begin
to walk, we will have a bright future. You, I
and the love that unites us, what more could
we want? Someday day we will reach the city
we've always longed for. There is a special
place for us, a cozy nest for our love, where
we will never be damaged by the cyclone.
More storms threaten the soundness of this
wonderful union.

Have you seen the flowers on the trail?
Colors that have never been seen before,
because now our eyes see what they didnt
see before. Our heart perceives the wonders
that surround us as we march joyfully,
satiating the route that leads to the city of
love, to our promised land where the golden
wheat fields will be the bed where we play
until dark. The moon will be full every night,
illuminating our smiles, which spring up as
seeds, converting them in those stars that we
always dreamed to achieve.

It has not rained, but the rainbow adorns our
sky and shows the direction to destiny that
we wanted since birth; a place where love
grows in the valleys as the fresh green grass,
with splendor of kings, without limitations.

The trees will have leaves that will heal all the
wounds that afflicted us so much in the past .

Fjate bien; abre los ojos tanto como puedas. En este
camino vers lo que nunca encontrars en otros
senderos; ros que suenan como canciones, aves
que cantan como ilustres violines, flores vistindose
con los colores del amor, y nubes que aparecen en
el cielo dibujando mil y una formas diferentes, todas
ellas nacidas de nuestra alegre imaginacin, para
caminar felices por este nuevo camino que nos invita
a avanzar por l con esperanza; tomndonos
fuertemente de las manos, con la ferviente ilusin de
llegar a nuestro destino; el hogar soado, nuestro
Edn tan anhelado.

Donde el amor con su pauelo de seda enjugar
todas nuestras lgrimas y la consolacin inundar
nuestros pechos, como las aguas cubren el mar. Las
razones de nuestra alegra no podrn contarse,
como tampoco puedes contar los peces del ocano,
ni los millares de aves que vuelan en el cielo.

Cada estrella del cielo ser un deseo cumplido, y
brillarn como nunca antes han brillado, formando
palabras en el firmamento, todas ellas sinnimos de
la palabra Amor, llenando el universo de estallidos
de color, fuegos artificiales, para celebrar que la
misericordia y la verdad se encontraron y anunciaron
con gozo que la justicia y la paz por fin se besaron.
Look closely; open your eyes as much as you
can. In this path you can see what you will
never find in other trails; rivers that sound like
songs, birds singing as famous violins.
Flowers dressing in the colors of love, and
clouds appear in the sky drawing a thousand
different ways, all born in our cheerful
imagination, happy to walk this new path that
invite us to move through it with hope; taking
us strongly of the hands, with the fervent
hope of reaching our destination; dream
home, our long-awaited Eden.

Love with its silk handkerchief will wipe away
all our tears and our hearts overflow with
consolation, as the waters cover the sea. The
reason for our joy may not be counted, nor
the fish in the ocean or thousands of birds
flying in the sky.

Each star in the sky will be a wish come true,
and will shine like never before, forming
words in the sky, all synonyms of the word
"Love". Filling the universe bursts of color,
fireworks, to celebrate that mercy and truth
met, to announce with great joy that justice
and peace finally kissed.

ngel en la Tienda de Tortillas

Qu tiene prioridad si Dios nos llama cuando
tenemos otra cosa programada?
Puede Dios hacer aumentar o disminuir los
negocios?
Cul es ms probable que deje recuerdos ms
duraderos: seguir la obra de Dios o
el trabajo del hombre?

Tenamos dos primeros juegos el sbado. El tercer
juego no estaba previsto hasta las 18:30h.

El equipo que estaba ayudando a entrenar estaba
jugando en un torneo en el camino, fuera de la
ciudad. Aprovech la pausa en el programa para
visitar a una hermana, Dee Dee, que se encontraba
en muy mal estado de salud y viva en las cercanas.
Oramos por su salud y para ser guiados y utilizados
por el Padre.

Orad unos por otros, para que seis sanados.

En mi camino de vuelta al campo de bisbol, para el
juego de las 18:30h, tuve un antojo de una tortilla.
Enseguida me encontr con una tienda de tortillas.
Con slo un viejo coche abandonado en un rincn
remoto del estacionamiento. Me preguntaba cmo el
lugar podra estar cerrado en una gran ciudad a las
17:30h del sbado.

Al entrar en el aparcamiento pude ver que el lugar
estaba en realidad abierto, pero sin clientes!
Encantado con mi buena suerte (en una zona
tranquila junto al servicio rpido, lo que garantizara
mi regreso 'a tiempo' al campo de juego), ped mi
tortilla y convers informalmente con la camarera
adolescente. Hablamos de la vida, problemas con la
familia (su padre acababa de salir de su casa) el
trabajo escolar, buscar pareja, las horas exigentes
del trabajo y el pago de las facturas.

Muchas son las aflicciones del justo.

Pero mi atencin a la conversacin era superficial.
Yo estaba reflexionando sobre todas las maniobras
brillantes que pronto desatara en el equipo contrario
en el campo de juego.

Pagu la cuenta, con el tiempo justo para llegar a
tiempo y vi el nombre en el uniforme de la camarera,
'ngel'. Mi corazn volvi a la vida. Campanas
sonaron, banderas rojas ondeaban, zumbadores

What takes priority if God calls us when we have
something else scheduled?
Can God cause business to increase or
decrease?
Which is likely to make longer lasting memories -
pursuing Gods work or mans work?

We had two early games on Saturday. The third
game wasnt scheduled until 6:30PM.

The team I was helping coach was playing in a
tournament on the road, out of town. I took
advantage of the break in the schedule to visit a
sister, Dee Dee, who was in very poor health and
lived in nearby. We prayed for health and to be
led by and used by the Father.

Pray for one another, that you may be healed.

On my way back to the ball field for the 6:30PM
game, I got a craving for an omelet. At once I
came upon an omelet shop. With only one old
derelict-looking car in a remote corner of the
otherwise deserted parking lot, I wondered how
the place could be closed - at 5:30 PM on a
Saturday in a large city!

As I pulled into the parking lot I could see the
place was in fact open, but no customers!
Delighted with my good luck (a quiet setting
together with the prospect of speedy service,
which would ensure my on-time return to the
ball field), I ordered my omelet, and chatted
casually with the teen age waitress. We talked
about life, her life - problems with family (her dad
had just left home) school work, dating,
demanding work hours, and paying the bills.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous.

But my attention to the conversation was
superficial (at best); I was mostly pondering the
brilliant maneuvers I soon would unleash on the
opposing team at the ball field.

I paid the bill, with just enough time to get back
on time, and I noticed the name on my waitresss
uniform Angel. My heart came alive - bells
rang, red flags waved, buzzers buzzed. I was
on-call and it was time; the game would have to
wait.

zumbaban. Yo estaba 'de guardia' y era el momento;
el juego tendra que esperar.

Los pasos de un buen hombre son ordenados
por el Seor y l aprueba su camino.

En esta ocasin hablamos. Esta vez me centr,
estuve atento y amoroso.

Con todos los obstculos en contra de ella, le suger
que tal vez Dios estaba tratando de llamar su
atencin. Hablamos un poco ms, al comparar su
vida con la vida que Dios espera para el ser humano,
como se describe en las Escrituras.

El temor del Seor es el principio de la sabidura.

ngel me dijo que s, que previamente haba dado su
vida a Jess. Pero sin embargo, l ya no era un
factor en su vida. Especul que tal vez era una mera
coincidencia que me haya presentado en su
restaurante y que tuvimos una hora completamente
para nosotros. Ella estuvo de acuerdo. Oramos all
mismo en el acto, para cambiar su vida de regreso a
Dios.

Encontr angustia y dolor. Entonces invoqu el
nombre del Seor.

Al decir adis a las 18:30h (hora de jugar!) le
pregunt si haba algo ms por lo que pudiera orar
por ella, "Bueno ..... s .... podramos tener clientes!"
todo el tiempo que estuve en el restaurante,
continuamos teniendo el lugar completamente para
nosotros solos Increble! Oramos una vez ms,
rpidamente.

Por nada estis afanosos, sino en toda oracin y
ruego, con accin de gracias, vuestras peticiones
dad a conocer a Dios.

Ahora no recuerdo qu hora llegu al juego o si
ganamos o perdimos, o cmo nos colocamos en el
torneo de fin de semana, nuestros ganadores y
perdedores de la temporada, o quin lider al equipo
en bateo. Pero s recuerdo que cuando sal por la
puerta de la tienda de tortilla, cuatro coches entraron
en el estacionamiento y seguro iran a comer tortillas!

Vuestro Padre sabe de qu cosas necesita antes
que vosotros le pidis.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the
Lord, and He delights in his way.

This time, we talked. This time I was focused,
attentive and loving.

With all the obstacles mounting up against her, I
suggested maybe God was trying to get her
attention. We talked some more, comparing her
life with the life God expects for humans, as
described in Scripture.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom.

Angel told me, yes, she had previously given her
life to Jesus. But, He was no longer a factor in
her life. I speculated maybe it was no mere
coincidence I showed up at her restaurant, and
that we had an hour completely to ourselves.
She agreed. We prayed then and there about
turning her life back to God.

I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called
upon the name of the Lord.

As I said goodbye at 6:30 PM (game time!) I
asked her if there was anything else I could pray
about for her; she said Well0..yes0.we could
use some business! Throughout the time I was
in the restaurant, we continued to have the place
completely to ourselves. Incredible! We prayed
one more time, just a quickie.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God.

Now I dont remember how late I arrived at the
game or whether we won or lost, or how we
placed in the tournament that weekend, our won
-lost record for the season, or who led the team
in batting. But I do remember that as I walked
out the omelet shop door, four cars pulled into
the parking lot!

Your Father knows the things you need
before you ask Him.

Paul ha sido creativo desde la infancia, una de
sus pasiones es el cmics, tiene una gran
coleccin de cmics de hroes y mitologa,
incluyendo juguetes coleccionables de hroes
de accin. De hecho, anteriormente fue
propietario de una tienda de cmics, donde
tena una gran seleccin. Naci en Alemania
Occidental de padres griegos, criado en Grecia
por sus abuelos maternos, luego se traslad a
Canad cuando tena siete aos. l creci
como griego ortodoxo, pero es cristiano, sin
olvidar sus races y tradiciones.
Paul has been creative since childhood,
one of his passion is comics, he has a
great collection of mythological and
heroes comics including collectable
action heroes toys. In fact he previously
owned a comic store, where he had a
great selection. Born in West Germany
to Greek parents, raised in Greece by
his maternal grandparents, then moved
to Canada at the age of seven. He grew
up as a Greek Orthodox, he is Christian,
without forgetting his roots & traditions..

A DISTANT MEMORY

Time passes and has begun
the feelings still remain
to be held in your arms again
to take away this pain.

It started not so long ago
I was but a lad
Im not disputing why you know
the times we could have had.

But those are now
distant memories
of things that could have been
cant redo or take them back
those memories within.

I can recall when first
we met
the second time
around
I looked for you and
your open arms
but a stranger
is all I found.

Time passed by and
we met again
in a different situation
but it looked as thou
we didnt grow
all ended in frustration.

I tried and cried

many years have come
and passed,
and no ones in a hurry
to maybe turn and
look in the past
and truly say,

UN RECUERDO DISTANTE

El tiempo ha comenzado y pasa.
Los sentimientos todava permanecer.
Ser cargado en tus brazos otra vez
para llevarse lejos este dolor.

Comenz no hace mucho tiempo atrs.
Yo era ms que un muchacho.
No estoy discutiendo eso que
sabes; los momentos que
podra haber tenido.

Pero ahora esos son
recuerdos lejanos de las
cosas que podran haber
sido, no pueden rehacerse o
traerse de vuelta esas
memorias de dentro.

Yo puedo
recordar la
primera vez
que nos
conocimos.
La segunda vez
te busqu a ti y a
tus brazos abiertos.
Pero un extrao es
todo lo que encontr.

Pas el tiempo y nos
encontramos de nuevo
en una situacin
diferente.
Pero pareca como
si no crecimos; todo
termin en frustracin.

Lo intent y llor.
Muchos aos han venido y
pasado y nadie tiene prisa
para que tal vez alguien gire y
vea el pasado y realmente
pueda decir, lo siento.

A very rainy afternoon I saw my mother go
with her umbrella in hand, very happy she
went out to look for bread that night we went
to dinner. My sister and my little puppy we
stay alone, waiting for her to come back with
something in his hands.
After an hour she arrived very happy.
To my surprise I saw her all wet, I asked:
Mother, where is your umbrella? She
responded that she gifted it to a mother with
her son. The heart of the mothers are
designed by God to give love and
compassion. Thank God for the mothers!
They are the biggest blessing.

Una tarde muy lluviosa vi salir a mi madre
con su sombrilla en mano, ella muy feliz sali
a buscar los panes que esa noche nosotros
bamos a cenar. Mi hermanita y mi pequeo
perrito nos quedamos solos, esperando a
que regrese con algo en las manos. Luego
de una hora ella muy alegre lleg. Fue una
sorpresa verla toda mojada y le pregunt:
Madre, dnde est tu sombrilla? Ella me
respondi que a una madre con su hijo se la
regal. El corazn de las madres fue
diseado por Dios, para dar amor y tambin
compasin. Gracias a Dios por las madres!
son la ms grande bendicin.

CINCO NOTAS MUSICALES SOBRE
LA MUERTE DE JESUCRISTO

MI MI MI MI reino no es de este mundo. Si fuera rey, como
los de este mundo, mis guardias habran luchado
para que no cayera en manos de los judos. Pero mi
reinado no es de aqu Juan 18:36. Dijo Jess ante
Pilato. Su reino en el cielo es de amor y justicia.
Recordemos la oracin del Padre Nuestro en Mateo
6:9-15, en esa oracin tan perfecta y completa que
Jess mismo nos ense, donde le pedimos a Dios
padre que traiga su reino a la tierra; que como
sabemos el maligno, el ngel cado, Lucifer, es
quien tiene el poder sobre los reinos y los gobiernos
de este mundo donde se cometen violaciones a las
leyes y a los derechos humanos, abusos, fraudes,
atropellos, desmanes del poder, represiones,
corrupcin por parte del Estado. Pero Dios acta
muy diferente, acta con respeto por cada forma de
vida y as es su reino que est en el cielo y que
quiere estar aqu en medio de nosotros.

SOL SOL SOL SOLamente l, Jess, se entreg por nosotros. l
se ofreci como voluntario ante el Padre celestial,
para poder hacer la obra de la redencin por la
humanidad. Su sangre derramada, en cruento
sacrificio, lava, restaura y limpia a todo aquel que
acepta a Jess en su corazn, como su Seor y su
Salvador personal; porque la sangre derramada por
Jess en la cruz tiene poder. Antiguamente, se
sacrificaba un cordero o un chivo para que con ese
derramamiento de sangre se expiaran los pecados
de las personas. De all la famosa frase de chivo
expiatorio para referirse al animal que el Sumo
Sacerdote sacrificaba por los pecados de los
israelitas. Tambin hoy en da existen algunas tribus
que ofrecen animales a sus dioses como vctimas
expiatorias. Pero Dios mismo tom el protagonismo
de la Historia y decidi mandar a la tierra a su Hijo
Unignito, para que con una vida ejemplar, tentado
en todo, sin cometer pecado alguno, y con los
padecimientos y la muerte en la cruz, pudiera
conseguir el perdn de Dios a todos aquellos que lo
aceptan en su vida como su Seor y su Salvador. A
todos aquellos que, ms all de llevar una religin
determinada, lo que buscan es una relacin
personal con Jess. Una relacin que se basa en la
fe y conversin; es un proceso que puede llevar toda
la vida y que es constante; as llega la reconciliacin
y la vida eterna, que es el compartir la felicidad de
Dios en la plenitud de la vida despus de sta. 1
de Juan 5, 19- 20.
FIVE MUSICAL NOTES ON THE
DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST

"MI= MI= MI= MI=My kingdom is not of this world. If I
were king, like those of this world, my guards
have struggled to not fall into the hands of
the Jews. But my kingdom is not from here,
"John 18:36. Jesus said to Pilate. His
kingdom in heaven is love and justice.
Remember the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-
15, in that sentence so perfect and complete
that Jesus himself taught us, where we ask
God the Father to bring His kingdom to the
earth as we know the evil, the fallen angel,
Lucifer, is who has the power over the
kingdoms and governments of this world that
commit violations of the laws and human
rights, abuse, fraud, abuse, abuses of power,
repression, corruption by the state. But God
acts very differently, act with respect for
every form of life and so is your kingdom in
heaven and wants to be here among us.

SOL SOL SOL SOL= == =Only He, Jesus gave himself for us. He

blood, in bloody sacrifice, lava, restores and

High Priest sacrificed for the sins of the

Son, so that with an exemplary life, tempted
in every way, without committing sin, and
with the suffering and death on the cross, I
could get the forgiveness of God to all those
who accept Him into your life as your Lord
and Savior. To all those that carry beyond a
particular religion, they are looking for a
personal relationship with Jesus. A
relationship that is based on faith and
conversion, a process that can take a lifetime
and it is constant thats how reconciliation
and "eternal life" comes, which is sharing the
happiness of God in the fullness of life after

SI SI SI SIlencio profundo hubo cuando Jess muri en la
cruz; en una muerte que le era aplicada a los
criminales de esa poca. Jess muri como si
hubiera sido un criminal, un delincuente, como si sus
manos hubieran robado o matado, como si sus
manos hubieran cometido delitos; lo hizo por ti, por
m, por Nosotros, por llevar los pecados de la
humanidad a los pies de esa bendita cruz y as
vencer al pecado y la paga del pecado, que es
muerte; la muerte eterna. Es como si Jess mismo
se hubiera hecho todo pecado en la cruz, por eso
grit, en algn momento, al sentirse desamparado:
Padre, Padre, por qu me has abandonado. Eso
fue porque en su humanidad se sinti vulnerable y
alejado de Dios, al cargar con todos esos pecados,
una reaccin muy humana y ms que natural, que
nos habla de la naturaleza de Jess, que es Dios y
Hombre al mismo tiempo. Juan 19: 28-30.

RE RE RE REsulta que luego de morir, un soldado romano le
abri el costado con una lanza; derram sangre y
agua. En la imagen de Jess de la misericordia,
aparece Jess con unos rayos rojos y azules que
salen de l, que simbolizan la sangre y el agua que
salieron de su costado; que significa el perdn de los
pecados y vida en abundancia, que es lo que l
quiere darnos. Recordemos que sin derramamiento
de sangre no hay perdn de los pecados; era
necesario para que Dios nos rescatara de las manos
del maligno. Que Jesucristo padeciera para poder
lavarnos, restaurarnos y rescatarnos del pecado
Juan 19: 32-37.

FA FA FA FAriseos y dems estuvieron contentos cuando
liberaron al criminal Barrabs, que en su lugar
crucificaron a Jess, el cordero de Dios, que quita
los pecados del mundo. Los judos de esa poca
esperaban a un salvador y libertador de Israel, que
los sacara del dominio del imperio romano y como
Jess no les ofreci eso, sino la liberacin del
pecado y de sus estructuras en este mundo,
entonces se sintieron de algn modo decepcionados
y prefirieron la libertad de Barrabs, que era un
asesino, que estaba en contra de los romanos y su
dominacin en el antiguo Israel.
Juan 18: 39-40 y Juan 19: 14-16.

Jesucristo cumpli su misin, slo nos queda a
nosotros tener una vida en comunicacin con l y
hacer siempre el bien a nuestro prjimo, no porque
nos vaya a premiar o a castigar, sino por amor a l.

Siembra y Cosecharas a Su Tiempo

Primeramente, existe un principio inviolable en lo
que a cultivo de la tierra se refiere: lo que la persona
pone en la tierra es lo que cosechar ms adelante.
Ningn agricultor siembra trigo esperando que en el
da de la cosecha vaya a obtener manzanas. Si
ech a la tierra semillas de trigo, lo que podr
cosechar es solamente trigo. Lo que sembramos es
lo que vamos a cosechar.

Es en este punto que debemos detenernos a
reflexionar por un instante. Con frecuencia percibo
que estamos ansiosos por cosechar aquello que no
sembramos. Me pregunto, frente a una ley tan
sencilla y clara cmo es que podemos ser tan
inocentes? Si no cultivamos un compromiso claro
con nuestra gente cmo es que pretendemos que
ellos estn comprometidos con nuestra persona? Si
nosotros, no nos tomamos el tiempo para
escucharlos y amarlos cmo es que ahora
pretendemos que ellos sean una comunidad de
personas compasivas y amorosas? Si nosotros no
nos tomamos el tiempo para formar, por esta razn,
el apstol nos advierte solemnemente:

Dios no puede ser burlado.

No podemos caer en la trampa de creer que el
Seor no vio lo que sembramos y que por eso nos
va a dar otro fruto del que realmente debera darnos.

Una segunda realidad en esta analoga es que
nunca se cosecha al instante lo que uno ha
sembrado. Es importante notar este detalle, porque
es precisamente esto lo que nos lleva a darle poca
importancia a nuestras acciones. La persona que
est acostumbrada a trabajar la tierra sabe que, por
un perodo de varios meses, no ver ningn fruto de
su trabajo.

De la misma manera, cuando sembramos en la
carne, no aparece un ngel a reprendernos, ni cae
del cielo un rayo que seala el juicio de Dios. Todo
sigue igual. Y es este estado el que nos lleva a
pensar que nuestras acciones no tienen importancia.
Pero el agricultor, cuando siembra, no est
pensando en el presente, sino en el futuro.

El hombre sabio entiende que sus acciones de hoy
tienen consecuencias para el maana, por esta
razn es cuidadoso en el presente.
Sow & Reap on His Time

Read Galatians 6:7-10.

First, there is an inviolable principle as far as
cultivation of land is concerned: what the
person laying on the ground he will reap
later. No farmer sows wheat waiting on the
day of the crop is to get apples. If the earth
began to wheat seed, which is only able to
harvest wheat. What we sow is what we reap.

It is at this point that we should stop and
reflect for a moment. Often perceive that we
are eager to reap what you did not sow. I
wonder, against a law as simply and clearly
how we can be so innocent? If we do not
cultivate a clear commitment to our people
how we want them to be committed to our
people? If we do not take the time to listen
and love how they now claim that they are a
community of compassionate and loving? If
we do not take the time to form, for this
reason, the apostle solemnly warns us:

God can not be mocked.

We can not fall into the trap of believing that
the Lord did not see what we sow and that's
why we will give another fruit that really
should give us.

A second reality in this analogy is that you
never instantly harvest what you have sown.
It is important to note this detail, because it is
precisely this that brings us give little
thought to our actions. The person who is
used to work the land know that, for a period
of several months, you will not see any fruits
of their labor.

In the same way, when we sow in the flesh,
an angel appears not to scold or lightning
falls from the sky marking the judgment of
God. Business as usual. And it is this state
that leads us to believe that our actions do
not matter. But the farmers, when planting,
not thinking about the present but in the
future.

The wise man understands that his actions
today have consequences tomorrow,
therefore careful in this.

Madre Naturaleza

Lase algunas de las referencias Bblicas sobre
la madre naturaleza: Gnesis 1; Salmos 24:1-2;
Levtico 25:1-24 y Proverbios 12:11.

Como creyentes solemos ser buenos, bondadosos,
solidarios con el prjimo, cuidamos algunas de las
cosas que nos ofrece el Padre Celestial; pero poco
solemos hablar de ecologa o interesarnos por
reciclar y mucho menos actuamos o protestamos a
favor de cuidar el planeta.

Dios nos dej y encarg mantener en orden la tierra
Por qu no respetamos la Creacin de Dios? Cada
uno podemos poner nuestro pequeo grano de
arena all donde vivimos, en nuestros hogares,
comunidades, inclusive podemos hasta actuar y
luchar en los grandes crculos, que son las
petroqumicas, corporaciones que contaminan el
medio ambiente y votar a favor o en contra de leyes
gubernamentales que favorecen o no al ecosistema.

Individualmente meditemos en estas preguntas:
Qu acciones hice o hago yo para ayudar a la
creacin? y Qu empezar a hacer para mejorar
el dao que le hacemos a la madre naturaleza?

As believers we tend to be good, kind, caring
to others, care for some of the things offered
by the Celestial Father, but little we speak of

the planet.

God left us to instruct and maintain in order
the land. Why we do not respect God's
creation? Each one of us can put our grain of
sand where we live, in our homes,
communities, in addition we can act and
fight in large circles, which are the

environment & to vote for or against laws on
government supporting or not the ecosystem.

Individually lets ponder on the following
questions: What actions I did or do to help
the creation? & What I will start to do to

the greatest gift of the universe, the
miracle of birth, the power that sustains
life and love. I'm on the top of the
highest mountain on earth, from here I
look down to the valley, I see a beautiful
big house. There is a garden, arising joy;
flowers that adorn it. I see 40 children
playing, they are running around the
house, jumping with happiness, they
finally found what they were looking for;
been precious babies for real. At the top
of the mountain my eyes became a
fountain of tears, these fell to the
ground, then the grass of hope grew.
The dry mountain now hath glorified. I
came down, approached the house,
played with the children, took them in
my arms, they wishpered in my ear how
happy they are now. I hear a loud voice
in my heart: "I will be the mother of all of
you! Lets go and build a home!"

Abel Pedraza: Es un cmulo de sentimientos:
sorpresa, alegra, felicidad, asombro y muchos ms.

CN: Cmo va el proceso del disco, ya tienen los
temas y la msica? (el concurso ofrece producir
un material discogrfico).
AP: Ahora nos encontramos en el proceso de
seleccin final de los temas, aunque algunos de
ellos sern del primer proyecto As es el Amor. En
breve comenzaremos la grabacin del material que
nos proporcion el concurso.

CN: Compones la letra y la msica de todas las
canciones de tu CD, As es el Amor?
AP: S, todos los temas son compuestos por m.
Gracias a Dios tuve la oportunidad de aprender a
tocar la guitarra en mi adolescencia y con ello puedo
de forma humilde componer los temas con sus
melodas.

CN: Cules otros instrumentos tocas?
AP: Bueno la verdad es que la guitarra acstica es
ms o menos el instrumento que mas cmodo me
siento aunque soy un aficionado! Pero me gusta
tocar algunas veces el piano para componer.

CN: Qu te inspir el tema As es el Amor?
AP: Tiene que ver con el matrimonio; la escrib para
el enlace de unos amigos.

CN: Qu te hizo seguir a Jesucristo?
AP: Nac en un hogar cristiano; mis padres me
transmitieron sus valores, creencias y vivencias.
Pero en mi adolescencia entregu mi vida al Seor
gracias a un encuentro personal y a innumerables
experiencias que tuve en mi bsqueda.

CN: Con cul ministerio colaboras?
AP: Algunas veces colaboro con la asociacin
perteneciente a la iglesia Comunidad Evanglica
Maranatha; a la que asisto y ayudo en el reparto o
recogida de alimentos. Soy una persona humilde y
cercana que est al servicio de la obra del Seor.

contest, Moving Music? And what has it
meant to you?
Abel Pedraza: A cluster of emotions: surprise,
joy, happiness, awe, and many more. A great
blessing!

CN: How is the process of the album going.
You already have the themes and music?
(The competition offers to produce an album).
AP: Now we are in the final process of the
songs selection, although some of them will be
from the first project "As es el Amor". We will
shortly start recording material provided by the
contest.

CN: Do you compose the lyrics and music of
all the songs on your CD, "As es el Amor"?
AP: Yes, all the songs are composed by me.
Thank God I had the opportunity to learn to play
the guitar in my teens and I can compose in a
humble way, the songs with their melodies.

CN: What other instruments do you play?
AP: Well the truth is that the acoustic guitar is
more or less the instrument that I feel more
comfortable, although I am not a pro! But
sometimes I like to play the piano to compose.

CN: What inspired you the theme "As es el

AP: I was born in a Christian home, my parents

But in my teens I gave my life to the Lord thanks
to a personal encounter and countless
experiences I had in my search.

AP: Sometimes I collaborate with the association
belonging to the Evangelical Community Church
Maranatha, I attend and help in the distribution or
collection of food. I am a humble and open
person who is at the service of the Lord's work.

esperanza cuando amamos. Compuesto por m, con
el propsito de llevar el mensaje de salvacin de una
forma fresca y cercana a todo tipo de persona no
importando su condicin. El estilo bsicamente es
Pop-Rock y la temtica es principalmente
"romntica" podramos decir que yo estoy
enamorado de Dios y todos y cada uno de los
grandes regalos que l me ha entregado; mi familia,
ministerio, iglesia y tantas cosas ms. Por ltimo

AP: To the young people; I would love to tell them

relationship with Jesus Christ. To everyone else; to
know that God loves them and that His love is

seek the Lord more each day, more of His
presence and get closer to Him

Ten la Biblia a mano para leer: Levtico 21:7 y 14;
Levtico 22:13, Nmeros 30:9 y Lucas 16:18.

Un hombre que hubiera dicho que no haba
encontrado virgen a su esposa y se demostraba
que no era cierta su afirmacin, no poda luego
repudiarla durante toda su vida.

Abre las siguientes escrituras para leer:
Deuteronomio 22:1321 y Dt. 22:2829.

Dentro de ese marco, en el caso de que una mujer
repudiada volviera a casarse y fuere repudiada de
nuevo, la legislacin mosaica prohiba que la
misma regresara a su primer marido. Esto ha sido
motivo de muchas discusiones: Dt. 24:14.

En tiempos de Esdras y Nehemas muchos judos
que haban regresado del exilio repudiaron a sus
esposas para casarse con mujeres descendientes
de los pueblos cananeos. Es probable que a este
caso se refiriera el libro de Malaquas 2:1516.

En el caso de los tiempos de Esdras, los judos que
se haban casado con extranjeras fueron obligados
a divorciarse de ellas. La ley mosaica se limit a
procurar evitar los abusos. La tolerancia se aprecia
en que no haba ninguna pena civil ni religiosa para
las personas divorciadas, salvo el impedimento
mencionado para los sacerdotes.

Hillel ense: Puede repudiarla simplemente por
un manjar mal hecho o por un plato solicitado y no
servido. Shamai dijo: Un hombre no puede
repudiar a su mujer, a menos que ella le sea
infiel. Muchos creen que el Seor Jess se puso
de parte de la escuela de Shamai, por las dos
siguientes referencias: Marcos 10:29.

Salvo por causa de fornicacin... Mateo 19:1-12.

En la ley de Moiss la pena para el adulterio era la

was not true, then could not put her away all
his life.

Open to read the following scriptures:
Deuteronomy 22:13-21 and Deuteronomy
22:28-29.

Within this framework, in the case of a
woman divorced remarried and divorced
again regardless of the Mosaic law forbade it
back to her first husband. This has been the
subject of many discussions: Dt 24:1-4.

In times of Ezra and Nehemiah many Jews

Pero la ley romana s permita a las mujeres
divorciarse de sus maridos. De igual manera, en
los contratos matrimoniales de los judos de
Elefantina (siglo V A.C.) se han encontrado que
ambos cnyuges podan pedir el divorcio. Se
estima que fue una costumbre de los egipcios.

Privilegio Paulino, segn el cual Pablo permiti el
divorcio en el caso de que un incrdulo
abandonara a un cnyuge creyente. Lase las
sugerencias de Pablo en 1 de Corintios 7:115.

En esta porcin se fortalece el concepto de
indisolubilidad matrimonial cuando se dice: la
mujer no se separe del marido... el marido no
abandone a su mujer. Incluso cuando se aade
que si llegara el caso de que la mujer se separara,
sta deba quedarse sin casarse.

A travs de la historia de la iglesia estos pasajes
han sido utilizados para apoyar puntos de vista
contradictorios.

Tambin en este caso el Nuevo Testamento es
mucho ms estricto que el Antiguo Testamento,
puesto que la expresin: qudese sin casar para
un cnyuge que se separa representa un concepto
totalmente desconocido en el Antiguo Testamento,
donde el divorcio siempre se entiende como una
disolucin total del vnculo matrimonial, por lo que
ambos cnyuges quedan en libertad para contraer
nuevas nupcias.

El nuevo casamiento lleg incluso a prohibirse a
las viudas. Esos casos eran ms abundantes que
el de los divorciados. Esto ha cambiado mucho en
tiempos modernos, pues ya no se discute el
derecho de los que pierden su cnyuge por causa
de muerte para casarse de nuevo, pero en muchos
crculos cristianos se piensa todava que no es
correcto hacer lo mismo con los divorciados.

Nota de la Editora: Al finalizar de leer este artculo
me pregunt: Qu dice Dios o la Biblia sobre el
divorcio a causa de abusos fsicos, verbales o
sexuales? Malaquas 2:16 ha sido la referencia
ms cercana. Investigando encontr que algunas
iglesias aconsejan a las mujeres a ser pacientes y
esperar que las cosas se mejoren o que ellas
necesitan ser mejores esposas y as los abusos no
ocurrirn. Por esta razn muchas mujeres
cristianas no hablan del tema por miedo a que se
les exponga como las ms culpables. Ministerios
aconsejan que los lderes se capaciten sobre el
abuso domstico y se entrenen para lidiar con la
violencia de los hombres y exista respeto y lealtad.

At the end of reading this article I wondered:
What God or the Bible says about divorce due
to physical, verbal or sexual circumstances?

Malachi 2:16 was the closest reference.
Investigating I found that some churches
advise women to be patient and wait for
things to get better or they need to be better
wives so the abuses will not occur. For this
reason many Christian women do not talk
about it for fear of exposing themselves as
the most guilty. Ministries advise leaders to
train on domestic abuse and train to deal with
the violence of men therefore respect and
loyalty can exist.

GRANDMOTHER

In 1982 several medical diagnoses detected
cancer in grandmothers body. Her
condition was so severe, she did not need to
take medications, it was not necessary to
operate, nor chemotherapy, because all her
organs were infected. Only had a treatment
that reduced the bad odor. The doctors
predicted six months at most.

One daughter prayed: God take my mother
so she does not suffer, nor have pain, take it
to be there, in the glory of your kingdom. But
the other daughter prayed: God do a
miracle, heal my mother, to be with us.

Months after many prayers, grandmother
had an improvement in her physical
appearance. They took her to the doctors,
the results found no tumor; no cancer.

Grandmother lived 19 years among us. In
2001 she took a vacation to visit us, my
mother and me in Florida, USA. The day
after arriving, at home, she woke up smiling,
we were all three together when suddenly
she lost strength, my mother hugged her as
she softly fell. Grandmother wanted to
cover his eyes with his left hand while
exclaiming: "Oh great light, lots of light, I can
not see a bright light that shines bright light
in the tunnel" At that time passed away
peacefully & in harmony.

cncer en el cuerpo de Grand Mam (abuela) .
Su estado era tan grave que no hacia falta
ingerir medicamentos; no era necesario operarla,
ni recibir quimioterapia, porque todos sus
rganos estaban infectados. Slo le hicieron un
tratamiento que conseguira disminuir el mal olor
de las infecciones. Los doctores pronosticaron
seis meses de vida, como mximo.

Una hija or: Dios llvate a mi madre para que
no sufra, ni tenga dolores; llvala para que est
all en la gloria de tu reino. Pero la otra hija or:
Dios haz un milagro, sana a mi madre para que
est con nosotros.

Meses despus de tantas oraciones, Grand
Mam tuvo una mejora en su aspecto fsico.
La llevaron a los doctores; en los resultados no
encontraron el tumor del cncer.

Grand Mam vivi 19 aos ms entre nosotros.
En el 2001 vino de vacaciones, a visitarnos, a mi
madre y a mi en la Florida, EE.UU. Al da
siguiente de llegar a casa, ella amaneci
sonriente, estbamos las tres juntas cuando de
repente ella fue perdiendo fuerzas, mi madre la
abraz mientras ella caa suavemente. Grand
Mam quera tapar sus ojos con su mano
izquierda mientras exclamaba: oh mucha luz,
mucha luz, no puedo ver, hay mucha luz, esa luz
brilla mucho en ese tnel En ese momento
falleci pacficamente y en armona.
