A basket will be provided in Fellowship Hall to place your name tag in after fellowship time. Name tags will only be made every two (2) weeks. Moving Forward - the second meeting of this social group will be May 6 at 11 am in Fellowship Hall. Bring a bag lunch, beverage & some new ideas for future social activities. If you have any questions, please see Doris Pitts or Linda Hughes. Canned Food Sunday, May 12 - The following items are needed to pack boxes: dry soup mix, canned meat (no tuna, please), canned fruit, cereal, spaghetti & sauce, rice and mashed potatoes. Please remember all items must be new and unopened. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. MODELs will meet at A Taste of Everywhere, 128 SW Broadway St. on May 16 at 12:30. If you plan to attend, please email your reservation to dhumcvol@yahoo.com or call the office by May 14. Dont forget to bring a dollar to be donated to a charity at the end of the year. Pentecost Sunday, May 19 - The Worship Committee is requesting that everyone wear red and/or white to worship service as we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. Important Notice - Since there are fewer activities during the summer months, we are going to combine the June, July & August newsletters into one newsletter. All articles are due May 19 and the summer newsletter will be available Sunday, May 26. Articles for the September newsletter will be due August 18. Memorial Day observance, May 26 - The Worship Committee is requesting that everyone wear red, white and blue to worship service to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
