Low back pain

Back pain is pain felt in the back that usually originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
Back pain may have a sudden onset or can be a chronic pain; it can be constant or intermittent, stay in one place or radiate to other areas. Low back pain is the most common type of back pain due to the fact that lower back support the majority of our body weight.

The proper shape of spine has 4 curves.

Your body has curves so you can spring when you walk.

Acute backache
Back strain due to lifting of a heavy object, a fall, a violent jerk . (as in case of a sudden car brake ) Injury, road accident, fall of a heavy object, fracture of the spine, dislocation of a vertebral disk.

Chronic backache
Lumbar Spondylosis: It is degenerative osteoarthritis of the joints between the centra of the spinal vertebrae .

Slipped Disk: These disks act as cushions between two vertebral bones, the reason may be an injury to the spine which is forgotten, degeneration of the disk due to old age or other reasons.

Posture:
Bad habits such as slouching, watching TV in unusual positions and failure to exercise contribute to improper position

Gynae Problems:

Home remedies for back ache.


Heat- Heat is wonderful treatment for back pain. Boil some water and put it in a bottle. You can put this bottle over pain affected areas to get temporary relief.

Raw Potato- You can apply raw potato in the poultice form as it has been found effective in backache cure.

Lemon- Lemon is the natural remedy for back pain. Take a fresh lemon and extract juice from it. Mix some common salt in it. Take this mixture two times a day, it will provide you great relief. Honey- You can take a glass of water mix with honey every morning to get rid of backache.

Vitamin C- Vitamin C ( oranges, grapes ) is health beneficial as it provides great relief for severe back pains.

Garlic - The most important home remedy for a backache is the use of garlic. Two or three cloves should be taken every morning to get results. Oil Prepared from garlic and rubbed on the back will give great relief. This oil is prepared by frying ten cloves of garlic in 60 ml of oil in a frying pan. This treatment should be continued for at least fifteen day.
