Draksharamam - Bheemeswara swamy

Draksharamam is one of the Pancharamas and one of the 18 Shaktipeethas. It is famous as both Shiva kshetra and Shakti kshetra. Lord Bheemeswara swamy and Manikyamba mata are main the deities here. This place is also called as Dakshina Kasi. Shiva Lingam is nearly 9 feet height and the top part is seen at the first floor. Draksharamam is situated just 6 km away from Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. The temple timings are given below. Daily Dharma Darshan: 6.00AM to 7.00AM and night 7.00PM to 8.00PM Wednesdays: 6.00AM to 11.30AM and 3.00PM to 8.00PM Rest of the days: 6.00AM to 12 noon and 3.00PM to 8.00PM

Samarlakot - Shri Kumararama Bheemeshwara swamy temple

Kumara Bheemeswara swamy and Bala Tripura Sundari are the main deities here. Similar to Daksharamam temple the lower stair at the Shiva linga is dark. The temple premesis almost resemblance the other Pancharama temple at Draksharama which is also called Bhimeswara Alayam. There are carvings of Apsaras on pillars in the temple. A mantapam supported with one hundred pillars can be seen. Eka Shila Nandi is kept at the temple entrance opposite to Shiva lingam.Devotees worship the Shiva linga from upstairs. It is about 20 km distance from Kakinada and 40 km from Draksharamam. Train route available. Temple timings are from morning 6.00am to 12.00 noon and after noon 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

Pithapuram Sri Puruhutika Kukkuteswara swamy. Temple

The presiding deities are. Puruhutika devi Kukkuteswara swamy. It is is one of the Ashtadasha Shakti peethas. Main temple of Kukkuteswara swamy is present towards the right side of the pond. Puruhutika devi temple is present in the North-East corner of the Kukkuteswara swamy temple. It is constructed facing South. On the walls of Puruhutika devi temple, 18 Shaktipeetha deities original forms are carved.It is also called as Padagaya Kshetra. It is only 14 km from Samarlakota on the way to Annavaram.

Annavaram - Sri Satyanarayana Swami temple

The presiding deity is Sathyanarayana swamy with his consort Sri Anantha Lakshmi on one Side and with Lord Siva on the other side took his abode on Ratnagiri. Pampa river running by the hill. Hindus perform Sri Satyanarayana Vratham throughout India for weath, education, prosperity, off spring, relief from troubles and sickness and success in business. The Satyanarayana Vrathams at the temple are generally commenced at 6-00a.m., and go on upto 6-00p.m., almost every day. The fee payable for Satyanarayana Vratham is Rs.125. It is located at a distance of 40 km from Samarlakota, 125 km from Visakhapatnam and 80 km from Rajahmundry. Train route available. Annavaram devasthanam has many budget and standard accommodations at the hill top. Sarvadarshanam is free and allowed between 6:00am to 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
