Introduction
The problem is to manage and run a website which can actually help women on their safety point of view and which will connect them to the system directly. Taking into account and the recent events which have occurred in the recent past. We fully understand our responsibility towards our society. So understand this responsibility we undertake this project. The name of the project is Women safety portal. 1.1Problem statement The main project is based on the safety of women on the . The main point of the project is to empower women and give them a new face in the society. The problem main is to set up a link between the users and the government. 1.2Objective The main objective of the website will be to provide women a direct link to the open world they may be able to express their views in the in front of the world and would be able to register their complains in the portal. 1.3Scope There is scope in the project as in our country the rate of crime against women is very high in the coming years and the up gradation of technology more tools and apps could be downloaded to protect them. 1.4Platform Specification 1.4.1 Hardware specification

1.4.2 Software Specification

The software specification will be stated as it requires a java update and net beans software. 1.4.3 Platform Specification The mail language used in this is java web application the server used is Apache Tomcat and is made in net beans IDE.

Chapter 2: System Analysis

2.1 Identification of need The major need of this project was to set up a link between women and government. The existing system is manual and by hand and so it takes a huge amount of time. Manual receiving of applications and requests is an erroneous task and also their processing and storage requires al lot of time. To give more accuracy to the system i.e. rather going manual modification we involve computer for accuracy. The least but most important it saves time whish is more important in the real world for helping women.

2.2

Preliminary Investigation In our through investigation we got to know that there are sites which accepts complains from the users with their e-mail address.

The sites were basically police controlled sites and were not user friendly.

Users were in great search of a site which could help them to cope up with the social network.

Also on the primary investigation we know that the sites which were not socially connected to people.

Chapter 3: Feasibility Study

The assessment is based on an outline design of system requirements in terms of Input, Processes, Output, Fields, Programs, and Procedures. This can be quantified in terms of volumes of data, trends, frequency of updating, etc. in order to estimate whether the new system will perform adequately or not. Technological feasibility is carried out to determine whether the company has the capability, in terms of software, hardware, personnel and expertise, to handle the completion of the project. When writing a feasibility report the following should be taken to consideration: A brief description of the business The part of the business being examined The human and economic factor The possible solutions to the problems At this level, the concern is whether the proposal both technically and legally feasible (assuming moderate cost).

is

5.2 Economic feasibility Economic analysis is the most frequently used method for evaluating the effectiveness of a new system. More commonly known as cost/benefit analysis, the procedure is to determine the benefits and savings that are expected from a candidate system and compare them with costs. If benefits outweigh costs, then the decision is made to design and implement the system. An entrepreneur must accurately weigh the cost versus benefits before taking an action. Cost-based study: It is important to identify cost and benefit factors, which can be categorized as follows: 1. Development costs; and 2. Operating costs. This is an analysis of the costs to be incurred in the system and the benefits derivable out of the system. Time-based study: This is an analysis of the time required to achieve a return on investments. The future value of a project is also a factor.

5.3 Legal feasibility Determines whether the proposed system conflicts with legal requirements, e.g. a data processing system must comply with the local Data Protection Acts. 5.4 Operational feasibility Operational feasibility is a measure of how well a proposed system solves the problems, and takes advantage of the opportunities identified during scope definition and how it satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements analysis phase of system development. 5.5 Schedule feasibility A project will fail if it takes too long to be completed before it is useful. Typically this means estimating how long the system will take to develop, and if it can be completed in a given time period using some methods like payback period. Schedule feasibility is a measure of how reasonable the project timetable is. Given our technical expertise, are the project deadlines reasonable? Some projects are initiated with specific deadlines. You need to determine whether the deadlines are mandatory or desirable.

Chapter 4: Literature Survey

Work done by others

There is not much work done in this concept as not many implementations of this concept were done in recent times only the Sites regarding the technological surveys of women crimes and also the local police has set up sites which provides the facilities of complain but they are not up to date.

Benefits
The main problem set up by the local police enforcements is nicely solved in these websites as these websites tackle the major idea of a portal that is they provide a better link between the local enforcements and the people with the accounts on these sites.

Proposed solution
The main proposed solution of this website will be not only they provide a result to the linking problem which is mentioned about it will provide a status report which will give a proposed solution to this problem. The main solution of this project will be that we will try to make this website more and more user friendly so that it will be more and more beifitial for others or the users Technology needed The main technology needed for such kind of problem will be that it will be totally based on java Technology used Java

- Oracle

Platform used- apache tomcate 7.1 IDE used Net beans
