Jalil, Faraz 3/30/13 Hedonism and Weakness of will Psychological Hedonism is when a person makes his/her choices based

upon which choice they believe will bring them the most pleasure. Ethical Hedonism means that something is good so long as it brings you pleasure. If people believe in both forms of hedonism ,it follows that there are no weak willed people and the concept of weakness of will is rejected . The Socratic Paradox states that people will not go towards something they believe is bad . The Socratic Paradox denies the concept weakness of will because if ,according to him,no one would willingly go ahead and perform an action that he believes is bad and everyone does only good , then not a single person is weak willed ,i.e there's no such thing as weakness of will.
