Paper #3: Field Trips

submitted by: Tylor Striegel

1. Explain which field trip you think you will actually try to use.
I think I would actually use the Clark County Heritage Museum field trip. It aligns perfectly with a few of the social studies standards for those grade groups, as well as being interesting for the children. The cost is not necessarily perfect, but it is a lot less than other museums.

2. What challenges did you run into during this assignment?

The hardest part for me was finding ideas for the virtual field trips. Im still not 100% sure that I understand the concept. However, I had such a difficult time finding websites that were really of any use. The older students social studies standards are so specific that, while I could easily find websites, they dont have any academic use that really relates to what the students are supposed to learn.
