Assignment 2 Reflection For assignment two, I want you to pay particular attention to the assignment guidelines.

Basically, I want you to look at the way I related my work to our in class material. I want you to also see how the way I used words such as Artifacts and Actors and make sure I utilized those words correctly. I also would like you to pay attention to my summary and my storyboard. I want this mainly because it was very hard for me to differentiate the two. It almost seemed as if these two were the same and I want to make sure that the Summary is strictly following the summary rules and vice versa. With my storyboard, pay attention to the pictures and how they relate to my wording. Make sure everything not only flows well, but is also connected to my pictures as I feel this will be big and I want to make sure everything is correct in the storyboard. The comments that Natalie and Joseph gave me were very helpful. Some comments however, were not useful at all. For example, on comment 10, Joseph explained how it was a little inappropriate. This was not helpful at all because in my summary, I already explained how it would be inappropriate because of the event I was doing. Also, comments 9, 10, 11 and some more all repeated themselves. Each comment said that I needed to put down the questions I asked for my interviews. This was not helpful in that it was reiterated multiple times. Most comments, however, were very helpful and gave me a boost in revising my paper. For example, comment 15 by Natalie said, Who are the actors? How are they related to your figured world or discourse community. Comments like this give me a basis to go off of. What I mean is, it gives me questions to answer and a starting point to where I need to change certain things. Another comment like this again by Natalie says, I think you have actor confused with discourse community. A discourse community is the different relationships such as pledge class which involve multiple people. This comment helped me in that she did not only tell me what I was confused on, but she explained it following her explanation with an example. This made it clear as to what I needed to fix. In my observation, I believe I was very strong in my observation notes. I believe my notes were very detailed and implicit giving the reader a clear understanding of my observation. For example, one of Josephs comments on my observation say, Breaking the event into the different sections is clear and understandable. Also, the following comment by Natalie, comment 14 also explains how my notes are detailed and easy to understand. Nevertheless, I did have some weaknesses. One of my weaknesses was my summary. In my summary, it was very hard to be able to explain my figured world, while relating it to in class topics and use in class material. For example, comment 2 says, What are some other discourse communities inside your figured world? Groups of friends, pledge classes, class rank, etc? This comment showed me that I was slacking on my explanation of discourse communities inside my figured world. Also, I was weak in my storyboard. I did not even have commentary on my storyboard to begin with. This gives me no revision to work off of for my storyboard and little information helping me revise my storyboard.
