in
an
interim
component
of
an
IB
Assessment
task,
and
the
reason
is

(or
an

determined
by

by

A
new
interim
deadline
for
the
component
will
be
set
for
the
student.
If
the
student
misses
this
deadline
a
further
one
hour
detention
(a
second
verbal
warning
for
Prefects)
will
be
issued
by
the
subject
teacher
and
a
formal
warning
letter
will
be
sent
home
by
the
Head
of
the
IBDP
to
the
effect
that
the
student
is
in
danger
of
not
completing
the
task
by
the
final
deadline
and
therefore
of
not
passing
the
subject

meeting

to
qualify
for
the
Diploma.
Boys
are
reminded
that
the
accumulation
of
verbal
warnings
has
significant
implications
for
their
prefecture.
Final
Deadlines Failure
to
submit
an
IB
Assessment
task
on
the
final
due
date,
and
the
reason
is
not
illness
(as
outlined
in
a
doctors
certificate),
will
result
in
the
student
being
issued
with
a
two
hour
detention
by
the
Head
of
the
IBDP
and
a
formal
letter
being
sent
home.
During
the
detention
the
student
will
work
on
the
task
and
at
the
end
hand
the
result
to
the
Head
of
the
IBDP
for
submission
to
the
IBO.
This
will
mean
that
the
student
will
be
able
to
submit
something
for
assessment,
rather
than
not
meeting
the
IBOs
requirements
to
pass
the
subject
and
therefore
not
qualifying
for
the
award
of
the
Diploma.
