Wrtsil has In-house products for the Waste heat recovery type fresh water generator used in various power plants, refineries, offshore rigs and installations. Based on decades of engineering experience, HAMANN AG offers a range RO systems. Wrtsil Waste Heat Recovery System: Cost efficient way to produce distilled water by utilizing the waste heat of the engine cooling water. The concept of a freshwater generator is simple; sea water is evaporated using a heat source, separating pure water from salt, sediment and other elements. A freshwater generator uses the diesel engine jacket as a heat source. The cost of operation is low as it uses heat to run the generator. HAMANN AG Reverse Osmosis System: Drinking water production through Reverse Osmosis process. The HL-ROS can be applied in any situation where portable water has to be produced independently from salt water. Reverse Osmosis or RO is the process to produce high quality water works by forcing water under great pressure against a semi permeable membrane. Reverse Osmosis plant is designed as a single stage, single pass desalination plant, using the latest generation TFC membranes.
