My horrible experience with a "so called professional" with RE/MAX

This is the horrible and unacceptable situation that I just experienced with a "so called professional realtor" with RE/MAX Preferred on East Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and copy of the letter I sent to the Office Manager that I have not received yet any response nor apologies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Ann Tuttle, General Manager at Re/Max Preferred This past Thursday afternoon on May 2nd 2013, I contacted via phone one of your associated realtors, Mrs. Beth Daly in regarding to a rental listing property she has in "Marina del Mar" at 1500 SE 15th St unit 212 in Fort Lauderdale, whose MLS number is F1235998 for showing instructions and after all the introductory protocol that I usually do, she gave me the Supra Lockbox code to access the unit after a brief explanation about the improvement work that will be made in the building soon. Due to the inclement weather in the area my client and I decided to cancel the viewing for that afternoon and we rescheduled the viewing for the following day, Friday at 2:00 PM. Yesterday a few minutes before the agreed time with my client, I headed to Marina del Mar along with my business partner Mr. Dennis Meredith to show the building and the unit interior. At the building gate entrance we were received by Chip Seebre, the president of the building association who coincidently was at the premises and he was super nice to us at the same time we chatted a little bit about business, because he is the vicepresident of Priority Title Inc. Couple minutes after, my client

arrived and we showed the interior of the unit and rest of building while Margot Sevini, a very nice and attentive woman was cleaning the unit. Unit and building shows impeccable and my client fell in love of it immediately. He is offering to rent the property for a year lease and paying upfront first month, last month and security deposit. He is more than qualified. He works in the boat industry as a security guard, so it tells a lot of him as a good citizen in our community due to his proven background, and besides that he has a second job at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. My customer asked a couple of questions and I promised him to answer them right away after I contact the listing agent Mrs. Daly, which I did via phone again with NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I left a message and called after that several times and again NO RESPONSE AT ALL FROM MRS. BETH DALY. I called yesterday your office during business hours and the front desk person informed me that Mrs. Daly was not there physically. I asked if she knew that Mrs Daly had any emergency or so and apparently she did not. The front desk person offered Daly's cell phone number but I said I had it already and called several times vainly. With all my respect I am relating all this sad and inconvenient story for RE/MAX business because first of all in my years in Real Estate is the very first time that after doing all the diligences for a very valuable customer, a supposed professional in your company, has dumped in the trash bin all my efforts as if not only my business and efforts were not valuable and important, but my client as well. For you to know a little bit about myself, I am european, born raised and educated in Spain, a country where we offer top of the World class services no matter the customer or the

traveler from any country. Besides that, I have represented my country for more than 18 years in Embassies and Consulates to Spain as a Cultural Attach and Protocol representant for very important exchanges in more than 25 countries. I have lived and worked internationally. I am very proud of the way I conduct business no matter its nature. I am very proud also to do business in United States of Amrica because I do know very well how to represent America out there for customers much better than your associate Mrs. Daly does, even I was not born here. I love many american people and I will always love them as well I will be willing to provide them my business and my services, but I will never be proud of people like Mrs Daly and I do not feel sorry for that. I feel sorry for the customer she misrepresents as the landlord of unit 212 in Marina del Mar. I hope Mrs. Beth Daly is not a reflection of the way RE/Max Preferred conducts Real Estate business not only for americans but for the rest of the World. From now on, I will be much more selective to see which listing to be shown to my customers. I hope you will take care properly of this conflict for your business (not mine) by not letting the bad seed spread out maliciously under this heavy Spring rains we are facing in south Florida. All the time professionally yours,

Angel Calzadilla, realtor
