Sirtracks Pinnacle GPS Iridium Collars offer unrivalled performance and battery life. Sirtracks battery life estimates are based on real life testing which is then significantly derated to ensure our promised performance is delivered. Even with this derating the Pinnacle GPS Iridium is a top performer when comparing life and weight with other solutions. Starting at 655g with whip and internal VHF antenna options the Pinnacle GPS Iridium Collar is suitable for tracking medium to large mammals including carnivores and ungulates. The global Iridium satellite system combined with the Pinnacle GPS Iridium allows you to reliably collect GPS locations, activity and temperature data on a user selected schedule and retrieve that data automatically via Sirtracks exclusive data service website. The data service website stores your data in the cloud so you will be able to download it from wherever you are. If you decide to change your data capture requirement simply send Sirtrack an email and we will tell the collar to change what it is doing. Very soon you will be able to do that directly via the data service website. Once your study or research is over simply send the collar a message to drop-off. It will take a GPS fix, send it to you, release and ensure the VHF beacon is activated, all to help you recover the collar. Providing your collar has not been damaged during deployment, simply order a new battery pack, fit it yourself and redeploy the collar, which also re-arms the drop-off. From concept to final production the Sirtrack Pinnacle GPS Iridium has been engineered for reliability. Over 25 years of knowledge combined with extensive laboratory and field testing has ensured we have proven the Pinnacle GPS Iridium is up to the extreme challenges of a wildlife deployment.
