High Performance Wire & Cable
Founded in 1965, Harbour Industries’ vision was to fill the gap between the demand for high quality,
high performance wire and cable and the supply available at the time. The military's stringent require-
ments for quality wire and cable shipped in a timely manner were the formative guidelines for today's
Harbour. Attention to detail and a respect for the customer's needs have enabled Harbour to grow in
markets that demand quality, consistency and availability.
Throughout it’s history Harbour has stressed the importance of an efficient, productive manufacturing
facility. A number of moves and property acquisitions have taken place, propelling Harbour to the forefront
of the Mil-Spec wire and cable industry. Today Harbour boasts TFE extrusion capacity unparalleled in
North America, extensive jacketing lines and high speed braiding equipment to support a wide range of lead
wires; shielded and jacketed cables; and coaxial cables. Additional product lines include silicone rubber
insulated mil-spec wire and cable and corresponding UL/CSA styles.
Harbour’s mission statement is to remain competitive while continuing to develop processes and procedures
to ensure compliance with all mil-spec wire and cable requirements. Harbour’s reputation for quality, con-
sistency and a strong technical orientation has resulted in approvals for a variety of military constructions.
Since its first day producing mil-spec wire and cable, Harbour has recognized the importance of meeting
the needs of government suppliers. Today Harbour also understands the importance of maintaining this
focus as many manufacturers have designed systems using mil-spec requirements independently of any
government agency. This has increased the importance of ensuring the ability to produce “obsolete”
specification material and transitioning to commercial versions of those items.
Ultimately quality is the goal and focus of Harbour Industries. Certified to ISO-9001, Harbour’s quality
system ensures that what we manufacture meets or exceeds our customer’s requirements for product
quality, performance and delivery.

applicable. The number of color codes contained in the part number also indicates the number of conductors
in the cable.
In the example above there are three conductors, all of which have white insulation. The stripes on the first
conductor are black and yellow, the stripes on the second conductor are black and orange and on the third
they are black and red.
