MPT is a non-profit, Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) affiliated, non-commercial educational public television network serving the residents of Maryland and the surrounding area.

Report to the Vice President of Development; manage the day-to-day operations of a team of 15 fundraising professionals, who successfully raised $7.53 million in 2012. Exceed goals by leveraging symbiotic relationships, recruiting and motivating the best talent and applying best practices. Transform MPT into one of a handful of PBS stations which consistently increase member revenue, while growing membership. Design and implement best practices for web-based fundraising, email, and social media member engagements, raising more than $1.8 million. Negotiate, sell and manage $2.75 million in advertising trades with corporate donors and community partners, offsetting expenses for events, marketing, and operations. Personally design, market, and manage special fundraising events, including 13 online auctions, five online raffles, plus engaging donor and community events, raising more than $1 million. Awarded a Google non-profit grant for $10,000 per month in Google Ad Words campaigns to promote MPT Foundations fundraising events and concerts. BALTIMORE & PHILADELPHIA GUIDES FOR THE ARTS Baltimore, Maryland President and Publisher 2000 to 2004 Successfully conceived, sold, published, and distributed two separate arts guides, the first in Baltimore and a second in Philadelphia, which reached 77,000 affluent art patron households and generated over $520,000 in sponsorship revenue from more than 160 local and national businesses. Developed relationships with more than 50 leading arts organizations, gaining their trust to share protected patron mailing lists, as well as their stories and season schedules. Established successful co-marketing and media partnerships with Infiniti Broadcasting and Maryland Public Television, the latter also resulting in recruitment to present employment. Planned and hosted major cultivation events for art groups, sponsors, and ad agencies that attracted extensive media coverage and engendered favorable publicity among advertisers.
