PROJECT UNDERTAKEN: M.E. Project: Title: Nonlinear Analysis and Temporal Evolution of Motor imagery Summary: The project analyzes the nonlinear behavior of the bio-potential signal (EEG) obtained from the scalp of the participant to differentiate between various upper limb movements. Various signal processing techniques along with pattern recognition algorithms were used to differentiate left/right upper limb imagery using specific nonlinear features. Specialization: Brain-computer Interface, Rehabilitation Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Soft Computing, Neuro-Fuzzy Computing, Digital Signal Processing. B.Tech. Project: Title: Characterization of HRV by Poincare Plot Analysis among the Female Tea Garden Workers of North Eastern Hilly Regions of West Bengal Summary: The project reflects the, first of its kind, demographic study on the Characterization of Heart Rate Variability among the Tea Garden Workers in North Eastern Hilly Regions of West Bengal. In this project characteristic trends of HRV were analyzed using nonlinear methodology, for 400 tea garden workers using time domain & frequency domain features of RR intervals. Specialization: Biomedical Instrumentation, Sensors and Transducers, Nonlinear Mathematics, Digital Signal Processing.
