DAMAGE
Condition Assessment
Plant accidents happen, whether through human error, design flaw, equipment age or natural disaster. When such incidents occur, it is important for an owner/operator to return the plant to Safe Operation as quickly as possible. The DAMAGE Condition Assessment methodology is a Whole-of-Plant review of equipment to identify effected equipment and guide repair efforts.

Methodology
DAMAGE Condition Assessment has been developed to pinpoint equipment damaged during an extra-ordinary Plant incident (Fire, Explosion, Earthquake, Flood, Cyclone etc). DAMAGE Condition Assessment follows a structured assessment method, drawing on the experience gained during ECO|RAM, STEP|x and Condition Assessments performed at other sites. Comprehensive technical and operational benchmark data as well as a catalogue of potential improvement measures support the systematic analysis of a plant.

Process
The condition of the plant after the incident is determined by a thorough site inspection. Equipment is visually inspected for damage (generally limited to external inspection). Experienced personnel conduct a review of each system to determine the possibility of internal damage. Condition of all equipment is collated in a single cohesive report. The report includes expert advice for:
