Pupils must have tried Google prior to this lessonas without the experience they may not be able to share their learning experiences in class. Mekar textbook 4A, Mekar workbook 4A pg 30-32, ICT tools (Google Sites, Google docs, Google Presentation & Google Form) A laptop and a mobile router for each group or Lab ComputerTotal 5 groups)

Learning Objectives: Brief Description of the Lesson: )

Pupils will be able to listen and sing a song (poem). Pupils will be able to identify adverbs words from the poem given.

1. Pupils are grouped.


2. Teacher plays a video song of a poem. Pupils to sing along. 3. Each group to list down the verbs from the poem given. Group with the correct verbs is the winner. 4. Teacher will explain the objectives of the lesson. Teacher will display Google Presentation on Adverbs words from the poem.

5. Teacher gets each group to list down adverbs words from the poem given to each group on Google Docs. (Col) 6. Each group to go gallery walk on another group Google Docs for group editing. Each group to use group colours to edit or to comment on the column given on Google Docs. (CoL) 1. Teacher will display the Google Docs to class and to give comment on the pupils understanding of the lesson 2. Pupils are assigned to complete E-worksheet (SDL) on Adverbs and workbook. (Homework Activity)

3 Periods To be conducted in Computer Lab or Class Room with Laptops By the end of the lesson, the students/pupils will be able to: 1. Research on Zubir Said on his contributionsthat can be found in the internet 2. 3. Create a presentation using various media format to share some of Zubir Said ,the composer. Appreciate , assess and give comments to peers work.

3. Pupils are introduced to Zubir Said ,the composer of Majulah Singapura. Brief Description of the Lesson: 4. Pupils are asked to research for information about Zubir Said, to create a poster/brochure or powerpoint presentation. 5. Pupils work will be peer assessed as they are paired to share and comment each others work.

Classroom activity: Reflection on previous lesson Instructional Activities: Tuning-In Activity 10 minutes Presentation on P Ramlee .Teacher shares brief insight on P Ramlee. Teacher then brings on another music icon, Zubir Said . Teacher encourage pupils to list down as many questions they want to research about Zubir Said.

Research 30 min Pupils to log on their computers while researching on Zubir Said. Information are to be consolidated in for presentation.

25 mins Presentation to their peer . Peer gives feedback.Teacher gives overall assessment of completed work,
