Objective of the Training Course: To enable the participants to perform the 11KV High Voltage XLPE Power Cable Heat Shrinkable Joint & End Termination individually in a systematic & professional manner and make them as Skilled Jointers. Target Participants /Entry Requirements: The individuals who have completed the hands on practical low voltage (LV/LT) heat shrinkable power cable jointing training certificate course, certified from the reputed institutes/ organization are eligible to participate in this 11 KV Hands on Practical Heat Shrinkable Power Cable Jointing & Termination training course. individual participants or by the sponsoring authorities. Admission restricted to 12 Participants only and it will be on First come First Serve basis. NOTE: Only Participants who have Low Voltage Heat Shrinkable Jointer Certificate are permitted & admitted for this training course. The TA & DA have to be borne by the

High Voltage Hands on Practical Session

Voltage (HT) Heat Shrinkable Power Cable Jointing Training Course was already conducted for outside persons (i.e persons other than TANGEDCO/TANTRANSCO) during the period Nov2011 and 12 persons have been trained to become 11KV High Voltage Cable Jointers. The certificate issued by this centre is very valuable and very much recognized in overseas. The cable jointers trained from this institute are getting overseas employment opportunities.

Faculty Details: This Centre has 4 Core Faculties (2 Engineers & 2 Jointers) having good experience. Both the theory and practical training is imparted to the trainees by the experienced TANGEDCO (TNEB) Engineers, Skilled jointers, Eminent persons from Cable & Jointing Kit manufacturing firms, etc.
