ABOUT THE INSTITUTION Vinayaka Mission's University (VMU) was established in the year 2001 as a 48th University in India. The university status was conferred by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India with the recommendations of UGC (Established Under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956) to Vinayaka Mission as an acknowledgement of excellence and satisfaction for the highest levels of academic standards and its best infrastructure facilities provided to achieve excellence in education. Vinayaka Missions Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College (VMKVEC) was established in the year 1987 by the Philanthropist Honorable President, Dr.A.Shanmugasundaram to impart an impact on rural areas in the field of Technical Education. This college is the constituent college of Vinayaka Missions University (VMU). The department is very well supported by the Vinayaka Missions Hi-Tech Hospital which is having all sophisticated biomedical equipment where our students are trained. OBJECTIVE A recent development in diagnostic Radiology aims to explore and improve the research in the field of Radiology and encourage greater involvement in its application. We assure that the workshop will provide a platform or sharing knowledge and experience in the field o Biomedical Engineering and also build the gap between industry and academic. We are particularly encouraging the young engineers and research scholars. TOPICS
