RESOLUTION 0009-1314

A Resolution Reminding the Offices under the Student Services and Formation Units of Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan to Follow Official Office Hours WHEREAS, stated in Article III, Section 1, of the 2005 XU-CSG Constitution, the XU - CSG shall be the highest seat of student governance of Xavier University. Its officers shall represent its constituents in all university bodies and other association, both within and outside of the campus, which directly affect the students welfare and interests . WHEREAS, stipulated in Section 5 of the 2012 College Student Handbook, student services and formation units are composed of offices that develop and implement sound and functional programs that are geared towards the welfare and holistic formation of students. They provide invaluable experiences and opportunities for students to mature as individuals, leaders, and community members. More so, their existence contributes to making XU a vibrant and dynamic learning environment. WHEREAS, some offices do not post their office hours. Moreover, some offices do not serve during their posted office hours. WHEREAS, in order for these offices to provide services to the students and work for their purpose, office hours must be visibly posted to the public. In addition, office staff must serve during their posted office hours. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, this resolution takes effect upon the approval of 2/3 of the Directorate members sitting en banc, and thus requests that all offices of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan under the Student Services and Formation Units to follow their official office hours.
