To the president of United States of America, President Barack Obama.

First of all, I beg for forgiveness in interrupting your precious time. Im a citizen of Malaysia, and Malaysia, had an election on 5 May 2013, a country election that is unacceptable by the citizens of Malaysia. As you know, Malaysia is a member of United Nations and in the Article 21(3) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it was stated clearly that The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and genuine elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret vote or by equivalent free voting procedures. People shall be the basis of authority of the government, but the outcome of such election that had been held was 1. Media TVs announcing the voting result late in 5 hours and more, and this is never be a reasonable time. 2. Sudden blackout occurred in places where the counting process still taking places, and consequently, theres more ballots of voting papers pop-out and thus, changed the results in a mere blink of eye. The current ruling party (Barisan Nasional) had won the majority seats in the Parliament as the result of this election. President, Democracy could be seen in such huge country of US, yet I cant see any happening in Malaysia, my beloved country. As you can see from your likes pages, theres many profile picture with black colour. The reason behind it was, it shows our anger, our disappointment, our unsatisfactory towards the government, despite of the results of the 13th General Election. We, as the citizens of Malaysia, cant do anything except for changing a black profile picture. Were hopeless, and were helpless. We dont know what we can do, in order to save this Malaysia, which corruptions are everywhere, and high crime rates. Now even citizens from other countries could get Identity Card from our country so easily, when there are more local citizens, struggling to get it. Dwelling in sadness and disappointments, I, as one of the citizens of Malaysia, write this to President. After all the BERSIH rallies, all we wanted are a fair and just election, let the citizens choose what is good for them. It seems so hard for us to get a fair election. Its not a coincidence that certain places blackout, it cant be, and most coincidentally, the current ruling party of the 12th General Election, won for that certain places that blacked out. President, I truly hope that youll be aware of what all the Malaysians are facing, we need our democracy back, we need our clean election back, we need our beloved country to be free from dirty elections. Thank you Joanne Jiaming Ng
