Scope of Supply
1 Pc : Air/water cleaning nozzle. Maxi-Gun complete mounted on stand with air valve, air and water couplings. 1 Pc : Y-coupling with pressure gauge. 2 Pcs: Hatch protection 21/2 w/coupling. 2 Pcs: Water hose 21/2 x 30 mtr. w/coupl. 2 Pcs: Water hose 21/2 x 15 mtr. w/coupl. 1 Pc : PVC-air hose 1 x 30 mtr. w/coupl.

Description Over the years, we have been building bigger and bigger ships. Parallel with the increasing size and height of the holds, the time available for preparing the holds for the next cargo has been reduced. The Maxi-Gun will increase thecleaning effect by 5-10 times when compared to normal water nozzles. This has been made possible by an accurate venturi system, the use of compressed air and maximum amounts of water. Even rustscales are loosened and flushed away, by using the MaxiGun.

Equipment:
The Maxi-Gun consists of an unique designed series of air and water nozzles with 2 special swivel units in the vertical and horizontal positions. It is designed to give the highest and strongest solid water jet possible. It can be easily operated by one man using the normal service mains available on most Bulk Carriers and OBO type vessels. (See tech. data). Shipped in 5 easy to assemble pieces, it can be put together in just a few minutes.

Safety:
For safety, the Maxi-Gun incorporates three easily mounted water ballast tanks. These form a weighted, self-supporting stand for the nozzle and swivel units. When filled with water ballast, these tanks enable the equipment to meet the recoil forces. With the ballast tanks full, one man can easily and safely operate the equipment from a standing position, controlling jet direction and cleaning pattern from the nozzle handle.

Cleaning:
With the Maxi-Gun you will remove rust scale and difficult deposits such as cargoresidue etc. Keep heavy rust scales and deposits free of the bilges and use maximum suction capacity. After the Maxi-Gun cleaning and removing of rust and cargo-deposits from tank-top, you may start the chemical treatment with Spray Foam System at any time.

Instruction for use
1) 2) 3) 4) FIT THE WATER BALLAST TANKS (6) TO THE CROSS (7) AND SECURE THEM WITH A LOCKING PIN. FILL THE BALLAST TANKS WITH WATER. MOUNT THE NOZZLE ON THE NOZZLE FLANGE WITH THE SHORT BOLTS. ADJUST THE VERTICAL FLANGE (3) ON THE 4 BOLTS UNTIL IT IS EASY TO MOVE THE NOZZLE WITH THE HANDLE (5). DO A FINAL ADJUSTMENT WHEN WATER PRESSURE IS ON . ADJUST THE HORIZONTAL FLANGE (2) IN THE SAME WAY VERTICALLY. CONNECT THE AIRHOSE TO THE AIRCONNECTION (10) CONNECT THE Y-COUPLING (II) TO THE WATERCONNECTION (9) AND BOTH WATERHOSES THE Y-COUPLING

WARNING!!
PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM ONE PERSON MUST HOLD THE EQUIPMENT IN THE CARGOHOLD WHEN WATER AND AIRPRESSURE IS ON. ALSO ONE PERSON MUST BE ON DECK, AT ALL TIME, AND READY TO SHUT DOWN THE AIR AND WATER PRESSURE.
