Welcome to our annual underclassmen Awards Presentation Ceremony and CONGRATULATIONS to our recipients and their families. This evening Wilmington High School will proudly present Departmental Awards in several categories as well as some very special awards. The Departmental Awards are grouped according to the following criteria: Academic Achievement Awards Academic Excellence Awards The ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT awards recognize those students who may not have the highest average, but who show talent in a subject and who expressed a sincere interest in the specific curriculum area. The ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE awards are presented to our top ranking freshman, sophomore, and junior in each curriculum area. The Administration and Staff at WHS are very proud to be here this evening and congratulate all those who work so hard throughout the year.
