If you want a shelf unit that reaches all the way to the ceiling, just complement with height-extension posts. Sturdy shelves also come in different widths and depths. Theres even a corner shelf, so you can make use of corners, too. In short, you can find everything you need to adapt the shelf unit to suit both the space and your things. Theres even a practical basket to go with GORM shelf unit that you can hang directly on the shelf. Its easy to move and perfect for all the small things you want to find quickly and easily. Do you want to put the shelf unit on a damp floor in the garage or cellar? Then, its a good idea to put end caps on the bottom of the posts to prevent the cross-cut wood from absorbing moisture from the floor. GORM shelf unit is made of sturdy solid wood, so its prepared from the start to stand up to a lot. If you want to make the untreated surface even more durable you can use BEHANDLA wood treatment oil or glazing paint. That makes the robust shelf unit both more attractive and stronger.

HOW TO BUILD

Start by thinking about what you want to store and the space you have available. For the first section you need posts in a suitable height, shelves that fit your things and a cross-brace to stabilise the combination. After that, you can expand sideways

with shelves of the same depth. But the height you can vary as you like. To ensure that the shelf unit stands very steady, attach a cross-brace to every other section and fix the shelf unit to the wall using the enclosed safety bracket.

1. With GORM shelf unit you can adapt the storage solution to suit your space and needs.
