Save-A-Dog Inc. was established in 1995 in order to save thousands of dogs lives. We started out as a small family
ran rescue, but we quickly realized there are way to many dogs out there that require our services. Our main goal is
to try and save as many dogs as possible, we realized that the best way to do this was to team up with several
different organizations. Currently we have 4 other rescues that we partner with. All donations are split evenly
between the 5 organizations.
Currently we have placed over 5000 dogs in homes. We have seen dogs that have come from the worst of situations
and have successfully placed them all. Many of our dogs have excelled in obedience, agility and even therapy work.
By adopting one of our dogs we are not only guaranteeing a life long friend, but also life long help from Save-A-
Dog Inc.

This gorgeous girl is named Isabella. She is 8 months old and 75lbs. Isabella came to us after being tied up on a
chain for the first 7 months of her life. Her foster mom says she has adjusted very well. She is a class clown, and
her only problem is that she hugs the bed! If you have a big enough heart and bed for this beauty, please contact
us!!!
Approximately 8-12 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year and
approximately 5-9 million are euthanized (60% of dogs and 70% of cats).
Less than two percent of cats and only 15-20% of dogs are returned to their owners. Most of these were
identified with tags, tattoos or microchips.
