BE/B.Tech, Mechanical/Automobile (28 years) Experience in automotive design of one or more of the following: Interior Trim, Exterior, BIW and Packaging. Knowledge of Sheet Metal and/or Plastics. Proficiency in CATIA V5 & Enovia. Exposure to component development from concept to production is required. BE/B.Tech, Mechanical/Automobile (49 years) Well versed with the Cab related components in Interior/ Exterior and BIW from the truck cabin design perspective. Skilled in generating the master and functional sections at the initial stages in the Cab product development. Decide on the feasibility of these sections and suggest changes. Good in DMU verifications in Catia v5 and Virtual builds at the Cab level and support the Cross functional teams at the truck level & good knowledge of the legal requirements from Cab in terms of Packaging ME/Mtech/BE/B.Tech, Mechanical/Automotive (10-15 years) Complete automotive product development life-cycle knowledge Able to lead a team of experts in packaging and geometrical architecture domain. Sound knowledge of Packaging, Geometrical assurance, Geometrical architecture, GDnT, Physical builds in an automotive environment. Product knowledge of commercial vehicles.
BE/B.Tech, Mechanical/Automobile (25 years) Together with Volvo stakeholders and suppliers, design of: Wheel end brakes, brake installation and wheel end packaging. Pneumatic circuit, installation of components, routing design. Wheel hub, hub installation, development of specifications for bearings and other hub components.. Calculation and development of specifications for brake system for vehicle. ME /M.tech, Mechanical/Automotive (3-8 years) Front suspension: design of components using casting, sheet metal or forging process Steering system: selection and installation of steering gear box and pump. Rear leaf & air suspension system and castings components for heavy/medium duty commercial vehicle Resource planning, cost estimation, time plan for development activities including releases/verification & validation in coordination with Volvo stakeholders and suppliers. Engineering documentation of drawings and specifications
BE/B.Tech, Electronics/Electrical (2-6 years) Embedded software development, C and Assembly language knowledge with debugging skills . Knowledge of Microcontrollers architecture and functioning Experience inCommunication protocol CAN, LIN and using tools CANalyser, CANoe & MatLab, Simulink
ME/M.Tech, Mechanical/Automotive (2-6 years) Automotive Crashworthiness and Occupant Safety analysis Tools: Ansa, Hyperworks, Radioss, LsDyna Candidates with Automotive Product knowledge and Crash physical test experience, with Asian/ECE/FMVSS Regulation understanding will be given preference
