Some studies have also linked diets high in animal fat, and low in fruits, vegetables and fibre to an increased risk. Blood in stool translates to loss of blood in your body. This will result in lack of blood, which means anaemia is another sign of colon cancer. Anaemia in colon cancer patients needs to be improved to fight cancer and increase survival chances. Anaemia also leads to tiredness in cancer patients. Lack of blood makes your skin paler than your normal skin colour. Fatigue Fatigue is one sign that affects most of us, but that doesn't imply that we all have colon cancer. If you feel fatigue accompanied by other signs of colon cancer then you should be worried. As mentioned earlier, fatigue is a result of low blood level. Lack of blood drains the life from you, leaving you tired, lethargic and irritated. Weight loss Along with anaemia and fatigue, colon cancer patients will lose weight drastically. This weight loss is unexplained, but is also an important symptom. Significant weight loss over a few months without any apparent cause, i.e. unexplained weight loss, can be one of the main warning signs that you might be suffering from cancer. This also happens with cancers of the pancreas, stomach, esophagus, or lungs. Change in bowel movement This can be an agonising problem; change in bowel movement means you have to change your eating habits, which includes that you may have to skip on certain favourite food. Change in bowel movement simply means you may experience constipation, diarrhea, a sense that your bowel is not empty, rectal cramping, urgency to visit the washroom. Discomfort in stomach Cramps, pain, inflammation and bloating feeling of the stomach are some of the signs of colon cancer. Discomfort in the stomach may be the due to tears in the stomach. But stomach pain is rare in colon cancer. Obesity Obesity is a sign and potential cause of colon cancer; older adults who are heavy, especially around the middle, seem to have a higher risk of developing colon cancer than their thinner peers - and exercise may lower the incidence of the disease, especially for women, a European study said. It is good written. Just if you find blood in stool, go immediatly to a doctor, if you postpone it, you have less chance to be fight it. It is not always cancer, but the risc is very high. Especially if you have somebody in your family, who had cancer, do let make check up at least for blood in stool at the doctor. As you are more on risc, you can have it also. The scientists and also doctors mostly say, it takes 10 years till the cancer breaks absolutelly, but than it is mostly too late. From enorm stress many young people have cancer in Europe and they underestimate the signs, The earlier you come to doctor, the more chances you have to fight cancer.

Yes, that is true. But really the doctors and people in West say, it happens in many cases due enorm stress at work. Some huge international companies set people under such a press, that within 2 years , rather sensitive people get cancer there. It happened at my good friends and all of them were under 30 years old that time.Alcohol and smoking is out of discussion and eating habits, yes, many go to fast food, as they are always in a hurry.

You are right. Stress at work beyond what one normally experiences, does tend to make people resort to bad eating habits such as fast food, irregular timings, lack of exercise, etc. A diet that is rich in red meat and poor in fresh, green, leafy vegetables (which add fibre essentil for smooth bowel movement), all contribute to development of colon cancer. I think one has to draw, at some stage, a line between a highstress job and a healthy life-style, and devote more time for relaxation, meditation, daily exercise, proper eating, and happy family life. These do help in avoiding cancer. I am sorry that your friends had to suffer from this horrible disease. Hope they are now better. One empirical symptom of colon cancer is chronic constipation and severe bad breath that cannot be explained as being due to other causes.

Thanks, they are better now, but they were so 24-26 years old... there is a lot of stress nowadays, they just work and work, they dont eat at all, or some fastfood, they drink energetic drinks to stay in rash tempo at work,. Here many want to live in their own luxurious houses or flats and they work extremely, as they must pay the money to the bank back , I think, it is the way to hell. Of course majority of them smokes. They love the materialistic way of life and if they are so ill, they have nothing. But what shocked me, is the fact, many of them after the cancer they started to work so extremely and go on the crazy rapid lavish life style.
