1. WiMAX Connection Manager installation

Uninstall all WiMAX driver in the Laptop Connect Mobitel WiMAX dongle to Laptop Follow the auto install guide to install WiMAX connection manager If auto install guide not showing, open My computer and find out the removable disk find out the file WiMAXCMInst.exe and install it.

Four types of status of WiMAX connection manager

Type 1. If status is No Device then check dongle is plug in or driver is install properly or not.

Type 2. Connecting to WiMAX BTS, should check RSSI &

CINR.

Type 3. Connected to WiMAX BTS. Can do drive test now. Type 4. Network was disconnected. Should reconnect by click the red ball manually.

When you connect WiMAX dongle to your Laptop, you should find all these information showing on the panel. If MAC address or version information are not showing , Please reconnect the WiMAX dongle again. For connection status , we are going to explain next slide.

4. WiMAX Connection Manager acknowledge

Driver Version and Firmware Version should be showing and must be the right version. If not showing, Please reconnect the WiMAX dongle hardware again. If not showing as the right version(Driver Version:5.2.132.0, Firmware Version:5.2.2963), Please go back to page 4 step E reinstall the driver again.

Each WiMAX dongle have different MAC address which showing below as Physical Address. And will not be all zeros. You should have idea for your dongles MAC Address. If it not showing right. It means you can not login the network. You should reconnect the hardware again. And wait 10 second and check again.

4. WiMAX Connection Manager acknowledge

If your dongle connect to the network well, you can got the status as the graphs showing. If some IP address, like default gateway,

not showing , It means you are not connected

to the network.

The colorful circle is bigger the signal is better.

5. CNT acknowledge
IF CNT work properly, you can find signaling message running in the Air Interface Message window in logging mode or live testing mode. As graph showing on the right side.
