Repentance

Father with humble heart, contrite spirit and reverential fear at Your word, I respond to Your call to repentance and brokenness. Is 66:2 Father, I return to You from my backsliding, according to your word please heal my backslidings. Behold, we come to You; for You are Jehovah our God. Jer 3:22 I confess my sins in deed, thought and words. I confess my sins in my attitudes, emotions and passions. I confess my own sins and that of my household. I do not justify or excuse any sin associated with me. I confess my transgressions, iniquities, wickedness and evil. I confess any action, thought or attitude that has made me unclean, defiled or impure before you. I renounce, denounce, reject and repent from anything that has grieved or quenched Your HOLY SPIRIT. My iniquities testify against me, but act, O LORD, for your name's sake; for my backslidings are many; I have sinned against you. Jer 14:7 I confess every sin of sexual immorality, idolatry, covetousness, drunkenness, slander, falsehood, greed, 1Cor 6:9-10; all impurity, filthiness, foolish talk, crude joking, Eph 5:3-6; murder, abortions, lies, jealousy, envy, strife, pride, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy Gal 5:20-21 friendship with the world or love for the world Js 4:4 & 1Jn 2:15. I confess and repent of these sins in my life and in the life of those associated with me or who come under the sphere of my influence. I acknowledge my sin to you, and I do not cover my iniquity; I will confess my transgressions to You my LORD, please forgive the iniquity of my sin. Ps 32:5 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors about your ways, and sinners will turn to you. Deliver me from the guilt of shedding blood, God, God of my salvation. Ps 51 My God and Father please grant me Your repentance leading me to a knowledge of the truth, that I may come to my senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. 2Ti 2:25-26 Father I own my transgressions before You. I confess and forsake them, that I may find your mercy. Prov 28:13 Father redeem me from all our iniquities. Ps 130:8 Father I return to You, Jehovah my God, for I have fallen by my iniquity. I turn away from my sins and turn to You Jehovah. Take away all my iniquity, and receive me graciously, that I may know to praise and thank You. According to Your word, please heal my backslidings; love me freely and turn Your anger away from me. Be as the refreshing dew to me Hos 14:1-5 I confess all my sins to You, and because You are faithful and just, please forgive me my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:9 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD! Ps 25:7 Do not remember against me my former iniquities; let your compassion come speedily to meet me, for I have been brought very low. Help me, O God of my salvation, for the glory of Your name; deliver me, and atone for my sins, for your name's sake! Ps 79:8 "I come to You now, to reason together with You my LORD: though my sins are like scarlet, wash me in the cleansing blood of Jesus that I may be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, cleanse that I shall become like wool Isa 1:18 As for me, I said, "O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!" Ps 41:4 For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great Ps 25:11. Father, I repent, and turn again to You, please blot out my sins Act 3:19 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of Your inheritance? You do not retain Your anger forever, because You delight in steadfast love. Have compassion on me again; tread my iniquities underfoot. Cast all my sins into the depths of the sea. Mic 7:18-19 I acknowledge my guilt, that I rebelled against the LORD my God and scattered my favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that I have not obeyed His

voice Jr 3:13 I forsake my wicked ways, and my unrighteous thoughts; and return to You Jehovah, have mercy on me; and to my God, abundantly pardon my iniquity. Is 55:7 Father according to your word, please will sprinkle clean water on me, that I may be clean from all my uncleannesses, and from all my idols, please cleanse me. Give me a new heart, and put a new spirit within me. Remove, I pray, the heart of stone from my flesh and give me a heart of flesh. Put Your Spirit within me, and cause me to walk in Your statutes and be careful to obey Your rules. Save me also from all my defilements, Thank You for allowing me to ask You to do all these things for me Eze 36:25-27, 29, 37 Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more." 2Chron 34:27 because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the LORD.

Yearning for Righteousness

Thank You JESUS for giving yourself for me to redeem me from all lawlessness and to purify for yourself a people for your own possession who are zealous for good works. Tit 2:14 Father give me a hunger and a thirst for your kingdom and your righteousness above all else Mat 6:33 My LORD and my God please circumcise my heart and the heart of my nation, so that we will love the LORD our God with all our heart and with all our soul, that we may live. Deut 30:6 Father please put the fear of You in my heart, that I may not turn from You. Jer 32:40. Cause me not to defile myself anymore with idols and other detestable things, or with any of my transgressions. But save me from all the backslidings in which I have sinned, and cleanse me; and I shall be Yours, and You will be my God. Eze 37:23

Thank You Father for blotting out my transgressions like a cloud and my sins like mist; I return to You, for You have redeemed me. Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and will be glorified in Israel. Is 44:22-23 Thank You Jesus, for being wounded for my transgressions; You were crushed for my iniquities; upon You was the chastisement that brought me peace, and with Your stripes I am healed. Is 53:5. Thank You Jesus, for in You we have redemption through Your blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of Your grace, Eph 1:7 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all my iniquity, who heals all my diseases, who redeems my life from the pit, who crowns me with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies me with good so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's. Ps 103:2 Let all the saints thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of His deeds in songs of joy! Ps 107:21-22 Father Your word is indeed true that says "I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. Put me in remembrance; let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right. Is 43:25-26 Father I receive and exalt your word that says And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned, and by which they have transgressed against Me.
