WATER PROOFING
(Quoted Rates are for all heights, depths, levels, leads and lifts) The operations describe below are only indicative & the item is to be executed as per technical/ manufacturer's specification. Testing shall be done by ponding water (150mm depth) for 72 hours.

(The Water proofing work must be executed by an approved specialized Agency. The Contractor shall give a 10 years guarentee as per instruction of the Project Manager).
Note:

Brick bat coba waterproofing Providing & laying brick bat coba 125 mm thick (average) consisting of 1st layer: cement slurry @ 2.2 kg per square meter mixed with acrylic water proofing compound 2nd layer: 15 mm thick (minimum) plaster with cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with acrylic water proofing compound 3rd Layer: Brick bats laid over the 2nd layer leaving joints of 15mm to 25 mm & jointed filled with cement mortar 1 : 4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with acrylic water proofing compound including making gola with brickbat at the junction of wall & RCC slab. 4th layer: 20 mm (average) plaster with cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with acrylic water proofing compound and finished with flating coat of neat cement over horizontal surface & vertical walls up to required heights. The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer - in charge with average thickness of 125 mm and minimum thickness at Khurra as 65 mm (Plan area to be measured for payment) Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of WC/Toilet/Kitchen external walls and the like consisting of 1,258

Cleaning the sunken roof surface and walls from dust, dirt, cement slurry etc by means of wire bruch, dust removing brush and scraper etc. and plastering the entire surface with 12 mm thick cement plaster mix of 1 :4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) Wetting the surface prior to application to Tapecrete without free water standing Application of 1st coat of Tapcerete acrylic polymer modified cementitious slurry coating over the surface and to be taken to vertical surface and turned down Laying fiber glass cloth over the Tapecrete applied surface and vertical surface of walls when the first coating is still green and allowed to air cure for at least 4 (four) hours. Application of one coat of Tapecrete brush topping coat over the treated surface and allowed to air cure for aleast 4 (four) hours and water cure for next two days. Laying 12mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) mixed with Cico no. 1 @ 1.5 kg per bag of cement, normal curing of the roof shall be done prior to allowing traffic. Sunken area filling Providing and laying on sunken areas broken light weight concrete block bats of approximately 600 kg. per cum density laid, consolidated, finished smooth, including finishing & grouting the top layer with water proof cement mortar with CICO and as per specifications and drawing. Water Proofing with Crystalline method as per the manufacture specification( XYPEX, Krytone & BASF).Vendor Specification to be submiited along with offer Below Raft On Retaining Wall
