Fabric 1 1 yds. Pale Pink (4365-22) Fabric 2 3 yds. Black Print (4364-92) Fabric 3 2 yds. Dark Pink (4363-22) Fabric 4 2 yds. Small Pink Floral (4367-2) Fabric 5 1 yds. Pink/Black Floral (4366-92) Fabric 6 2 yds. Large Floral (4362-2) 8 yards of coordinating fabric for quilt backing 104" x 104" piece of batting template plastic 4 yards of 20" wide, lightweight, double-sided, fusible webbing thread to match appliqus usual sewing and rotary cutting supplies

3. Sewing lengthwise, join as shown: (1) 2 " pale pink, (2) 2 " black print, and (2) 2 " small pink oral strips. Repeat to make a second strip set. Cut these strip sets into a total of (25) 2 " wide segments.

4. To make (1) block, stitch together as shown below: (2) segments from step 1, (2) segments from step 2, and (1) segment from step 3. Repeat to make a total of (25) chain blocks.

Cutting

(All strips are cut across the width of the fabric from selvage edge to selvage edge).

Petal Make (192) From the pale pink, cut: Dark Pink (18) 2 " strips. From the black print, cut: & (31) 2 " strips. Recut (7) strips into (96) (96) 2 " x 2 " squares. Black Print From the dark pink, cut:
(10) 2 " strips for the binding. (8) 2" strips for the inner border. From the small pink oral, cut: (28) 2 " strips. Recut (20) strips into (96) 2 " x 7 " pieces. From the pink/black oral, cut: (5) 7 " strips. Recut into (24) 7 " x 7 " squares. From the large oral, cut: (9) 7 " strips for the outer border. Reserve all remaining fabric for appliqus.

Make the Flower Blocks 1. Stitch 2 " x 7 " small pink oral strips to the left and right sides of a 7 " pink/black oral square. Press the seams toward the square. Stitch 2 " black print squares on each end of a 2 " x 7 " small pink oral piece. Repeat once. Stitch these units to the top and bottom of the square to make an 11 " block. Repeat to make a total of (24) blocks.

2. Using the paper pattern provided and template plastic, make a template for the petal shape. Please note: the template has no seam allowances. 3. Trace (288) petal shapes onto the paper side of the fusible web. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse (192) petal shapes to the Sewing wrong side of the dark pink yardage.
