USSS DOCUMENT REQUEST No. 1 The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (the "Commission") requests that the United States Secret Service (USSS or the "respondent") provide the Commission with copies of the following documents no later than June 13, 2003 (the "production date"): 1. The classified version of the 1994 White House Security Review. 2. All documents relating to communications between USSS and military personnel on September 11, 2001, including any communications between USSS and Andrews Air Force Base personnel and any communications between USSS and NORAD personnel. 3. All documents relating to communications between USSS and Department of Transportation personnel on September 11, 2001, including any communications between USSS and FAA personnel. 4. All protocols in effect on September 11,2001, between the USSS and the FAA regarding air threats and emergency response, and all such protocols currently in effect. 5. All protocols in effect on September 11,2001, between the USSS and the military regarding air threats and emergency response, and all such protocols currently in effect. 6. USSS Emergency Response Plans in effect on September 11, 2001, and the plans currently in effect. 7. USSS organizational charts as of September 11,2001, and current charts. 8. Any after action reviews of the USSS response to the events of September 11, 2001. The Commission requests that the documents requested above be provided as soon as they are available, even though all requested documents may not be provided at the same time, through means of a "rolling" production. If any requested documents are withheld from production, even temporarily, based on an alleged claim of privilege or for any other reason, the Commission requests that the respondent, as soon as possible and in no event later than the production date, identify and describe each such document or class of documents, as well as the
