A RESOLUTION CANVASSING TT{E RETURNSAND

DEILAR]I\G TT{E RESULTS OF AN ELECTION
HELD ON TT{E l8th DAY OF JANUARY, 1992,
FOR TIIE PURPOSEOF ELMTI}IG A MAYOR,
ALDERMANPLACE 2, AND PLACE 5.

WHEREAS, heretofore, the Board of Alderrnan of the Tovne of Pelican Bay,

Texas, adopted a resolution call-ing an el-ection to be hel-d in said City
on the ej-ghteenth day of Januartrr, L992, for the purpose of electing a
Mayor, and two al-derrnan to serve on the Board of Aldernnn for the City of
Pelican Bay, Texas, and,

WHEREAS, the Mayor, and A-l-dernan selected for Pl-ace 2 having a term
e>rpiring h try, L992, and Al-dernnn Place 5 orpiring in May of 1993;

WHEREAS, said efection was duly herd at the tjne and at the place
specified in the said resolution after due notice as required by law had
been given, and;

WHEREAS,there were cast at saj-d el-ection a total of tlt votes and;

WHEREAS,only the gualified e]ectors of the city of pelican Bay, Texas,

to vote in said election;

The mr.rnicipal electj-on schedul-ed for Januarlr 18, 1992 was duly ca]led,
notice was hiven in accordance with the law and in accordance with the
resolution calling for the said election. Ttre election was hel-d in acco:'dance
with the application state statutes and ordinance of the City of Pelican
B.y, Texas, and the following votes were cast in the respective places
desigrnated hereunder :

Deen is hereby decl-ared to be duly elected to the office of Mayor for the
City of Pelican Bay, Texas, to serve a term that e><pires in May L992.

Mike Cox is hereby declared to be duly elected to the office of Aldernnn

Place 2 of the City of Pelican Bay, Texas, to serve a term that explres
in l4ay L992.

Ronald Riggle is hereby decl-ared to be duly elected to the office of

Al-derman Place 5 of the City of Pelican Bay, Texas, to serve a term
that e>pires i-n I',Iay 1993.

III.

The proper officials are hereby authorized to adminj-ster Oath of Office

and do all things necessary to install- said el-ective officials in thejr
respective offices.
