Wenn Sie den Kopfhrer an Ihren Verstrker anschlieen, achten Sie darauf, dass die Lautstrke (Volume) zunchst auf Minimum gedreht ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstrke erst nach dem Aufsetzen des Kopfhrers. Im allgemeinen wird mit Kopfhrern lauter abgehrt als mit Lautsprechern. Hohe Lautstrken knnen, sofern sie ber lngere Zeit auf das Ohr einwirken, zu dauerhaften Hrschden fhren. Schonen Sie Ihr gesundes Gehr - auch bei niedriger Lautstrke haben beyerdynamic-Kopfhrer ihren vollen Klang.

When plugging our headphones into an amplier, please make sure that the volume control is set at minimum and is adjusted after they have been put on. It is common phenomenon to listen to music through headphones at high levels. The very low levels of distortion present within the DT 990 PRO can make the listening levels higher than is perceived and we would like to warn you of this so that you are able to enjoy these headphones for many years without damage your ears.

Le casque DT 990 PRO est de type ouvert. Son galisation du champ diffus lui confrt une coute incomparable sur tout le spectre et assure une reproduction dle vers le bas jusqu 5 Hz. Quant sa rsponse en transitoires, elle peut grce la masse rduite de la membrane et de la bobine, tre compare celle de casques lectrostatiques.

Design Features
The DT 990 PRO is an open dynamic headphone. The weight of the diaphragm and moving coil of this headphone is approx. 20% compared to other current models. As a result, the DT 990 PRO offers similar pulse characteristics as electrostatic headphones. The cushion systems and light weight allow the DT 990 PRO to be used in complete comfort for long periods.

Instructions
The transducers are tted to adjustable yokes which should be positioned to fully enclose the ear. This will provide the optimum ear / speaker position for accurate sound monitoring. The coiled cord can be extended to a maximum of 3 m and is terminated with a high quality gold plated mini-jack and a 1/4" stereo jack adapter. Professional users should note that it is recommended practise that headphones are issued on an individual user basis to preclude any possible health risks.

Der DT 990 PRO eignet sich hervorragend fr Kontrollund Monitorzwecke. Durch die beweglichen Gabelgelenke und dem verstellbaren Kopfbgel aus Federstahl kann er jeder Kopfgre ideal angepasst werden. Das hochexible Wendelkabel ist einseitig gefhrt und lsst sich auf ber 3 m Lnge ausdehnen. Es ist mit einem 3-poligen vergoldeten 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker und schraubbarem vergoldeten Adapter fr 6,35 mm Klinkenbuchse ausgestattet.

Entretien
Pour des raisons hyginiques il est important de nettoyer le casque rgulirement avec un chiffon humide. Nutilisez que des produits de nettoyage doux (p.ex. produit pour vaisselle) mais en aucun cas des produits dtergeants. Veillez ce que leau ne sinltre pas dans les systmes dcoute. Les oreillettes et le bandeau de larceau serre-tte tant soumis une usure naturelle provoque par la transpiration et la sborrhe, il est indispensable de les changer rgulirement (voir Pices de rechange).

Pege
Aus hygienischen Grnden sollten Sie die Ohrpolster und den Kopfbgel gelegentlich mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch reinigen. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser durch die Wandler luft. Da Ohr- und Kopfpolster einem natrlichen Verschlei unterliegen, wird es von Zeit zu Zeit notwendig, sie auszutauschen (siehe Zubehr und Ersatzteile).

Maintenance
As with any equipment which will be used in close proximity to sensitive areas of the body, it is essential that the ear-pads and head-band are kept clean. Use a damp cloth for cleaning using warm water only taking care not to allow any water drops into the transducers. Should it become necessary to replace the ear-pads or the head-band cushion, refer to Spares and Accessories.
