FMC Subsea Control Systems are adaptable and configurable to operate the simplest on/off controls up to highly sophisticated controls required for operating subsea process and emerging Gas Compression Units. FMCs control systems are modular with various configurations which have been proven indispensable to life of field upgrades that are required as field conditions change. FMCs focus on product standardization and extensive qualification programs ensures the highest individual components and system performance. This also helps optimize supply chain management and project delivery requirements. Data monitoring and high speed communication support remote production monitoring and optimization.

FMC has extensive experience in optimization and supply of production control umbilicals.
Monitors and controls installation and retrieval of tubing hangers, landing strings, subsea trees and associated sub systems Provide facilities for down hole operations, well testing and production testing Standardized equipment with flexibility to be adapted to field and customer requirements Available as direct or electro hydraulic systems
IWOCS
The latest generation Control System for Riserless Light Well Intervention has been developed to optimize HSE aspect and operational efficiency. The system features:
Zero control fluid discharge Reduced Umbilical costs Deep water capability Very long offset capability Fast and accurate operational response
FMCs field proven electric subsea technology utilizes standard lowpower/ voltage umbilical and connector technology. Rechargeable subsea batteries power valve and actuator operations. FMCs all electric subsea electric controls reduce the cost of topside power generation and subsea umbilicals. Configurable electric hydraulic systems are available to upgrade existing hydraulic systems already in operation.
Improved working environment with optimized HMI. Online support from shore No hydraulic fluid release to sea Umbilical reduced to ROV-type cable only, improving operational efficiency, weather window and reliability Distributed controls with open standard interfaces Depth independent response time Qualified for water depths down to 3000m Acoustic back up communication and subsea UPS batteries Safe autonomous mode in case of communication loss

Sophisticated algorithms and knowledgebased systems, utilizing monitoring sensors, instrumentation, chokes, valves, and other components allows for predictive equipment maintenance. This significantly reduces both maintenance costs and production system downtime. Pressures, temperatures, flow rates etc. are used to determine settings for optimal production and to monitor the overall production parameters in real-time to avoid issues related to hydrates, erosion, water breakthrough etc.
