Describe elaboratively the steps to be followed in FMEA. Or

Discuss in detail failure, mode effects and critical analysis. Write about failure tree analysis. A battery is to be designed which will be subjected to extreme variations in temperature. The manufacturer decides to check three different battery materials to determine the optimum combination. The life of the battery in hours is taken as the desired parameter. The battery life in hours for the three different materials for different temperatures is given below. (Table 13.1)Two experiments were conducted for each test.
