A Bakliwal Tutorials IIT (BT-IIT was started in March 2005 with the aim to help students preparing for IIT-JEE, realize their dreams, and to make sure that the preparation process itself becomes a fun filled and growth involving experience. The institute is successfully doing so and is now training more than a thousand students. Why Residential Course?

A lot of bright and talented students from small places across the country with a potential to crack IIT-JEE do not get the right coaching in their towns. In order to open a window of opportunity to these students BT is glad to announce the Residential Comprehensive course, a two yr course meant for students who have completed their class X. Over all these years, we have realized that after 6 hrs of school and 2 hrs of travel time to school and coaching class, student hardly has time and energy left for IIT-JEE preparation. About the comprehensive course

As per the new pattern, for entrance to IITs, the student will have to write an exam JEE which will be split into 2 parts - JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE Mains is expected to be similar to the current AIEEE and JEE Advanced is expected to be similar to the current IIT-JEE. JEE Mains rank and Board marks in Physics/Chemistry/Math shall act as cut off and final merit list for admission to IITs and allied colleges will be made solely on the basis of JEE Advanced rank. For AIEEE affiliated colleges, performance in JEE Mains and P/C/M Boards will be considered for admission. JEE Advanced will have nothing to do with admission to these colleges. For colleges in Maharashtra, again performance in JEE Mains and P/C/M Boards will be used for the merit list. Point worth noting is that there shall be no Engineering CET from 2014. This means that everyone who wants to do engineering from local college also will have to confront the competition and write JEE Mains. To succeed in JEE one requires a thorough understanding of subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and the ability to solve unseen and new questions with accuracy and speed. Keeping this in mind, our course has been designed in such a manner that it will focus on: Core concepts and fundamentals Sharpening analytical skills and developing problem solving abilities Speed building through intensive problem solving sessions and tests Thus our course design is such that a sincere student is bound to acquire a grip on exams and cultivate self confidence and develop an easy 'feel' of the examination. This two year course for 10th passed students, with 1200+ hrs of Class Room teaching is truly comprehensive.

Course Material
BT shall provide its own course material. For additional study, we shall recommend few course books which the student would need to arrange on its own.

Tentative Course Plan:

Till the end of October 2014 the students shall be thoroughly taught all the topics fromJEE syllabus (for details, see the table below). Till then, every 4 weeks, there shall be 24 lectures of 3 hrs each. Every 4 weeks, other than the class tests, there will be a mega test, which we call BTest. From November 2014 we shall revise and re-revise the syllabus through lectures of increased time duration and systematically designed sheets and tests.

Hostel shall be exclusively for BT students 24 hr study room with library facility Well painted hostel rooms with 1 bed, table, chair, cupboard, electrical point for every student. Management and Discipline

Though there shall be a 24 hr, separate, rector for boys and girls, still we expect all our students to maintain self discipline. We expect our students to adhere to the rules and regulations of the hostel and our academy. We do not believe in harsh methods of punishing the students, however, if the student is found to be violating the norms of the hostel, he/she will be asked to vacate the hostel. Spirit of co-operation is expected to maintain harmony in the hostel.

Junior College
All the students of the residential comprehensive program will be enrolled with Shri Mhatoba Tukaram Balwadkar Secondary School & Junior College by default. This is one of the junior colleges that we have a tie up with and is situated just a km away from the hostel premises. Considering the fact that the students of this course are working hard for their IIT-JEE preparation, they shall only be expected to attend practicals, whose timings will be as per the convenience of students. The Extra Edge

What makes the residential course truly unique is not just the routine content of the program but also the extra enablers, which are delivered along with it. More contact hrs: 6 lectures per week of 3 hrs duration each (from Monday to Saturday) Guest lectures aimed at increasing student's IQ, EQ & SQ. Scholarships
Scholarship of Rs 1Lakh; 75,000; 50,000 for students who have qualified in Indian team; who have qualified the second round; who have qualified the first round respectively of any of the Government approved Olympiads (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Infomatics or Junior Science Olympiad). Scholarship of Rs 10,000/- for top 50 AIR(All India Ranks) in level 2 of NSO (National Science Olympiad) or IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad) or NCO (national cyber olympiad) conducted by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation). Scholarship of Rs 40,000/- for NTSE qualified students. Scholarship of Rs 30,000/- for students who have got state rank in MTS exam/NSTSE (National Level Science Talent Search Examination) organized by Unified Council, India. Scholarship of Rs 30,000/- will be awarded to the top 20,Rs 20,000/- from 21 to 50 students and Rs 10,000/- from 51 to 100 based on the performance in our first three BTests (aggregate). Note: All Scholarships will be given in the third installment only. No student can avail more than one scholarship. Additional prize of Rs 20,000 will be given to students who show exceptional performance in the entrance program at Bakliwal Tutorials.

FAQs
Q1. How and when will the results of the entrance program declared ? Ans. The results will be communicated within two days of the evaluation test to the student /parent over telephone. When we announce the result of any entrance program, we divide the students into 4 categories: 1) Students who have done extremely well will get the COC batch, to begin with. 2) Students who have done well but not got through for COC, will be allotted the champions batch in the beginning. 3) Students whose performance in the entrance was good, these students can also join the challenger batch at BT provided they are mentally prepared to work extremely hard. 4) Students whose performance in the entrance was dissatisfactory. They cannot join Bakliwal Tutorials. No request for admission of these students will be entertained. Q2. Why different batch for champions and challengers? Ans. Getting the best students together is one of the attributes that is common across all the top rank producing institutes throughout the country. The concept of 'champions and challengers' batches, allows students to study with peers of approximately the same intelligence level. This helps students to learn more and even the teachers are able to plan their lectures well. Q3. How will the admission to the champions/COC batch decided? Ans. For COC batch, 50 students will be selected on the basis of entrance program and then after every Btest To begin with there will be no champions or challengers batch, so students can choose batch 1or2 as per their convenience. After that there will be shuffling post every Btest. Q4. What is the admission process? Ans. After the studentqualifies the entrance exam he/she is required to fill up the enrollment form ( with a recent passport size photo) and pay the 1st installment of fee of Rs 49500/- by way of cheque in favour of Bakliwal Tutorials-IIT or by cash, with in one week of the declaration of result. Q5. Can students who have not done Foundation course cope up with the IIT-JEE study ? Ans. Yes they can. They are required to put in extra hours of hard work. They may join our foundation summer batch which starts from mid April 2013 to supplement their study. Q6. How is BT geared up for JEE Mains / Advanced & Boards? Ans. The faculty at BT is strong, flexible and experienced to dynamically modify the course plan to meet the new challenge with the help of strong systems and mock exams. Q7. These days most institutes are faking results. How can parents verify the claimed results of a coaching Institute? Ans.
